I was trying to think of something that links and works together but also opposes because of the rhyme scheme you chose and the opposing ideas in the poem (and thought of symbiosis, sparring, fencing, braiding, and other things, but couldn't settle on a word that would work as a poem name...) I'm pretty bad at naming things, in general. Tink pointed out that the awesome rhyme scheme you chose shares some similarities to the terza rima.... Haha, terza-riposte? Embarrassingly, that's the best I've got. Fencing makes me think of that interlocking back and forth, thus the borrowed terminology. And riposte could loosely reference a number of different things in the form. As the one who chose the interlaced rhyme scheme, you have just as much of a right to name it, if anything comes to mind. |
