~ The Poet's Place Cafe~

Curious, did you write when you were young? It never occurred to me to write when I was younger, specifically poetry until I was older. I simply wouldn’t have had the time. i started writing after my last horse died, my son grew up and moved out, my business was established and my husband retired and wanted to spend the cold months on our boat in Mexico. I needed a new challenge. Since poetry was on the same plain as studying Greek I jumped in with both feet.
