A Vacant Sheet


Empty, white.
Longing to be filled
with the treasure
of words -- ideas,
insights, secrets,
revelations!

Coaxing to be covered
with rhythm and rhyme,
chapter and verse,
problems, solutions,
beginnings and endings.

Beckoning a touch of
pen to paper,
mind and heart
to waiting space.

Come on.
You know you want to.
