Question of the Day!

Christmas is my least favourite, simply because the whole three-ring circus just goes on and on and on. My personal record for seeing the first Christmas advertising of the year was mid-September, though it's usually around mid-October that the bandwagon really starts to pick up momentum.

And it would be good if the local authorities could trouble themselves to remove their bedraggled Christmas street decorations sometime before the back-end of January. Christmas should be 5 weeks max: Dec 1 (Advent) - Jan 6 (Twelfth Night) and not a three month long psychological endurance test. If I were Supreme Ruler, anyone mentioning Christmas outside this period would get a seriously disapproving stare, I can tell you!


Not that I've got any strong views on the subject...
