With Dr. Daniela Kielkowski, a German nutritionist. I'm reading her book – and readjusting my nutrition accordingly – Abnehmen mit Kohlenhydraten = LOSING Weight with carbohydrates at the moment, in which she advocates darn convincing for why we need CHs in our nutrition, and no, NOT that refined poop the food industry and her stooges, the super-/hyper markets "serve" us. Food grows, dudes, it's not made... especially concerning carbs. Also she makes the quite COUNTERintuitive assumption that Low Carb + Intermittent Fasting + Weight Training (until Thursday, I was guilty of all 3 It basically boils down to that we're starving ourselves with especially the Unholy Trinity mentioned above, and our bodies are decaying because our brain gains the energy it needs to function and survive by burning muscles The brain WANTS its 5-6 oz. glucose each day, no matter what, and when we don't eat it, it exploits the body before burning fat. No, keto "diet" is not the solution... NO diet actually is. Her findings she makes by measuring her patients – a lot of them having been through the Unholy Trinity above – via spirometry (measuring metabolism in motionlessness) and using very finely calibrated body analysis scales, and via measuring – and adjusting her patients' nutrition over time (sometimes years!) => 15.000 patients in 18 years. Her findings are even used by first university departments already to help adjust not only sick patients' wellbeing, but also as potential material to use for nutritional guidelines. Means she doesn't make things up. Here Germans' brick-in-the-butt-ness is at its BEST. So we better eat the carbs immediately instead of fighting our true nature, which is that although we flew to the moon, our bodies are still hunters and gatherers. Evolution is no b– but a slow old girl who's in no rush. Side effects after only 5 days? I'm more – awake during the day, – aware during the day, – communicative, – motivated (decluttering continues Oh, and my constant anxiety is GONE. Nice, right? And that all because I stopped eating against my nature & intuition. |
