That probably happens to more writers than we realize. We fall in love with certain words and keep using them. I understand where you're coming from, letting others catch it is good in a way. It's fresh eyes, eyeing everything.  Why I put the three I know I overuse and I always go over what I've written. I tend to find a few typos and missing punctuation. That's where I catch the words I overuse. |
