What's something you regret doing... or not doing? For the longest time, I thought I'd regret not marrying my girlfriend from high school. Now, I'm quite happy I didn't. I'll not elaborate on that, we are still best friends though. I do regret not continuing my music education and becoming a part of a symphony somewhere. Or maybe a Music Teacher. When I graduated from high school, I could play all the Brass Instruments. I couldn't play them all well, I never needed to, nor was given the chance. I could play both the French Horn and the Trombone well. I was not near as good on the Trombone as I was on the Horn. However, I did know how to play each, how each valve was used to play certain notes. I do think my Naval Career in Nuclear Power satisfied my hunger for knowledge (a hunger I wasn't aware of then) far more than music would have. ![]() ![]() Jim Dorrell |
