This choice: Josh checks out his new predicament. • Go Back...Chapter #5Josh checks out his new predicament by: yugglopo   Josh closed the door after Courtney left, as he didn't want anyone else walking in because he wanted to be alone for a few minutes. He didn't want anyone else finding out about his power either for the time being. Josh felt like going on his laptop and what he saw when he opened it shocked him. Instead of his background picture being of him with his close friends at a professional basketball game, it was replaced with a picture of him and some girls who looked to be Courtney's age at the beach. Also, instead of the swim shorts, that he would normally wear, he was wearing a pink two-piece bikini! He couldn't help but think how weird he looked wearing it. After surfing the web for a few minutes, he heard his phone buzz, he reached over to his nightstand and turned it on to see he got a text:
"Hey Josh, are you still coming to the mall with me to shop for clothes tomorrow morning?"- Christina Goching
Josh recognized as the name of the girl Courtney said she was meeting up with the next day. He could just go and get it over with, as long as he kept Courtney happy she would swap back friends with him on schedule. The only problem was he didn't have a ride, so he decided to ask for one:
"Yeah I plan to, but I don't have a ride."
Josh got his response very quickly:
"Okay no problem, my mom can pick you up on our way. Is 9:30 okay?"
"That's fine. Thanks!" He texted her.
Christina sent him a bonus text:
"No problem! Just think, next year you can drive us to the mall. :)"
Josh realized that she was right, as he was 15 now and getting his driver's license in a year.
Suddenly, Josh heard his mom call up the stairs. "Courtney! Jennifer is here to see you!"
Josh forgot that she was supposed to come over after his crazy past couple of hours. But he realized that it was his sister's problem now.
Seeing as though he had nothing to do, he camped outside of Courtney's and Bri's room, where Jenn currently was at the moment. He was listening to their conversation "So, are you ready for me to help you study for that math test?" He heard Jenn ask. He guessed that she came to tutor his sister instead of studying with him.
"Sure. Just let me get my books out!" He heard Courtney say.
"Alright, I'll go to the bathroom while you do that." Jenn told her.
It took Josh a minute to realize, but the room that his younger sister's shared didn't have a connecting bathroom like his did, which meant Jenn would come out and see him! By the time that he thought of running, it was too late. Jenn walked out and saw him, Josh felt weird around her at the moment. He had to reasons, one being she wasn't his friend anymore, and two, his new clothes were more revealing than hers. "Hey, your Courtney's brother right?" She asked.
Not knowing what else to say, he responded with "Yeah... I'm Josh."
"Jennifer." She said, holding out her hand and shaking his.
"Sorry, I was just looking for the bathroom." She said.
Realizing he was standing in front of the door to the one across the hall from his sisters' bedroom, he opened it. "Right here." He cleared the way for her to walk in.
"Thanks," she said. "See you around." She then closed the door.
That experience was very weird for Josh because Jenn didn't even remember him anymore.
Josh decided to return to his room...
