A poem inspired by light and seasonal changes. |
| The sun, emanator of photons, Radiates in all directions, Yet a tiny tilt in the globe, Forms a Yin-yang effect. Half bathed in light at times, Cloaked in darkness the next. The wobbly path of Earth, Her tops and bottoms mismatch, A time of light a season of shadow, As she walks her loop around Sol. The hominid inhabitants seek the light, Ritual and song welcome its return. Line count: 12 lines |
