coz of my dreams
that cannot stay alive.

I sit in a classroom
listening to teacher's
talking like parrots;

with slits in their tongues,
for a competition
to dish out golden stars.

So it's no wonder
I can't sleep,
dreaming my future
with this education.

standing holding the flag
for the young,
heading off flying to war.

Facing their fate with pride
knowing the danger
exploding unheard in the air;
fragments flying dying,

lying buried in the sand.
Seeing a vision
of a wife and children
waiting crying;

the flag lowered down

to honour the brave
with respect.

the echoes whispering

of a soul in conflict,

To hear a baby cry waiting to be born;
then seeing the baby, a wint'ry goodbye
who cannot help the parents from crying.

You need to ask God!

"Why o Why, our baby to die before living
to be dressed, in lace with ribbons in her hair
dancing with locks to caress the morning air?"

In heaven God weeps, to hold the baby near
breathing life again to send a meassage -
Hi Mom and Dad. Please now don't you cry.

Heaven is paradise, where I can play safely
with the angels all day, waiting for you one day,
with a poem to tell you how much I love you.
