Review of Aradia's Broom  Open in new Window.
Review by Boz Author IconMail Icon
Rated: 13+ | (3.5)
A poem with no specific theme. I get the impression that the author has written it randomly leaving the reader to discover the inner meaning of the poem. By analysing the lines we see that several topics have been proposed like horror, depression, impatience. But it does not exploit any of them.

Review of The Wrath  Open in new Window.
Review by Boz Author IconMail Icon
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
Interesting poem depicting how the poet had undergone difficult situations in life. The outbreak of fire has engendered a serious loss to him/her. It took much time to start everything from scratch. The house was rebuilt with the assistance of his close relatives and friends from the ashes like the phoenix. But God spared his/her life .The lesson to learn from this mishap is that every time we must not look at things from the negative aspect.

Rated: E | (4.0)
A very touching poem illustrating the strong bond between a son and the parent. The parent exposes his/ her grief and experiences sadness when sending the son abroad. In fact, the poem gives the reader the feelings of remorse as far as family ties are concerned. The parent is always concerned about the child specially when the latter is far from the eyes. But it must be considered as part and parcel of life.

Review of Sensationalism  Open in new Window.
Review by Boz Author IconMail Icon
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
A veracious poem painting the role of the media in our daily life. Really there are far more sad and bad news than good ones. Of course this has a depressive impact on the reader mind. Most often the younger persons are tempted to ask questions about the occurrences. Rarely we learn something positive out of the papers. But the job of the journalist is to create sensationalism to sell the maximum quantity of the stuff. But the most important function is to inform and not to cause distortion

A vibrant homage to the importance of trees in our life. So many benefits have been outlined in this short poem. It is part and parcel of life. But man is destroying the environment on earth. By pulling down trees humanity is bringing forth its own downfall. We are subject to so many ecological disequilibrium. One day will come when we won't find shade anywhere Nature is warning us but we are turning a deaf ear.

An unusual type of student creating trouble at school. Such kind of schoolboys become a liability for the school. He influences other pupils to act and behave like him. He should be handled very tactfully. With his knife and gun he looks more like a ruffian than a learner. The role of the psychologist is very preponderant here.
