As a reader, I enjoy reading stories for children. Basically the stories written for children brim with optimism and they always hope for the best. The stories are always rich with imagination and they demand much creativity from the author. This story has more space to develop and could invite more questions from the child who listens to this story.

A reminder how nature could turn back on us to punish for man's ways of destroying nature. The story is a specific reminder how human could destroy the harmony and peace that nature silently built for centuries. Music and love for peaceful life brings in harmony and all the materialistic wealth is nothing when compared to the strength and beauty of nature.

Heaviness of thoughts in the sentences weighs down my eyes and tears blur my eyes. The paragraphs connect well from the beginning to the end making the read alive with serious tones. The author has been reflecting my thoughts and as a reader I could relate well to the situation. When life becomes unbearable, only hopes can revive it again.

O.U.C.H. As a reader I could hear the sound and also feel the pain. The pain of getting bruised and the subsequent scratches that follows everyday may not be a routine happening for many. Just like the author, my childhood days were always filled with such minor misgivings. The author has virtually pictured the pain and the screams that accompany such OUCH experiences.

The author has been quite descriptive and has given an opportunity for the reader to know about trekking. Trekking always fascinate me. Yet, I have not got an opportunity to go for trekking. The author has not missed even a simple detail for the reader. After reading this, my love for going on trekking becomes a strong wish. Hope the author will complete his next trekking trip to the planned destination without any hindrance. Though adventures are part of the trekking trip, till it is worthy to give try.

Emotional outburst that tells strongly that it hurts more than any reader understands.

Sentences of pain merged into a point

With those words the glass flies

Crystal rain piercing the sky as fury grows

Then the inevitable depression hits

Open my eyes, recite her broken tale.

These lines are so powerful to hit at the heart of readers and catch their attention even before they knew their eyes are blurred with tears.

The story begins with a hook that could encourage the reader to read further. The author has maintained the suspense from the beginning to the end that gives more space to write more. As a reader I felt the relief of coming through a maddening crowd that failed to have any common sense. The author has virtually drawn the chaos that happens in a shopping mall that is filled with people who wanted to complete their task - to grab something to show their neighbors. The author with his writing style has maintained from the beginning in all characters the task of going shopping. This made me remember one of my visit to a mall on a crowded holiday that forced me to take the decision not to go shopping with willful strangers who were ready to do anything to fulfill their task.

Someone's bad experience at a shopping mall must have evolved into an online shopping idea.

As the author writes, memories always follow us wherever we go. Though they may not be seen on the surface of your heart, they are deeply embedded in the grey cells of our brains or the flexible muscles of our hearts. As a reader, I find your poem on memories try to kindle my age old memories that would always love to peep out and check my mettle. It is true sometimes memories try to doom our lives. The poem with its simple word choice tells strikingly the pain of memories and how they could sway even a strong man. The author's bold little heart will also take those memories in its stride and come out unaffected.

Friendship during teens plays a major role in building confidence and hope about the future life. Bubbling with energy, the teenage memories are something one will never like to miss. Photos play a major part in engraving memories as the images in the subconscious mind.

The author has shown the transition that takes place within powerfully. The author's writing style has helped to tell this story without losing its in depth seriousness. Even though the theme is heavier to understand with ease, the author has made the story an easy read. Using a simple event, the girl walking to her work place, the author has shared the importance of choosing between the hell and the heaven. Sometimes it may look like invading the privacy of an individual, yet that call may be god sent. Whatever the experience may be, it could happen to anyone. The girl swings in dilemma if she needs to accept and embrace the path of god. The fluctuation between acceptance and non-acceptance has been told well to impress the reader and let the reader read more.

The author has handled this theme with ease and the story moves forward with an unexpected twist. Embracing the path of god may look hindering into our desires and our likings to lead a comfortable life. Yet, there are people who less fortunate and how they need the blessings of god through our willingness to share what we are blessed with.

The author has succeeded in writing an emotionally packed story that highlights the love of siblings. As a reader, I appreciate the excellent characterization of the three characters in this story. Esmeralda the girl who struggles to come over the loss of her brother reflects the strong binding of brotherly love.

Though the girl finds it tough to come out of her memories, her father comes in rescue. She lets the girl go in her way and then accept the loss as an occurrence that happens due to destiny. As a reader I could feel the presence of Brian throughout the story. Brian dominates the minds of all the characters in the story and he helps them to continue their lives as it is.

The winter season brings Esmeralda memories of her lost brother. Esmeralda's mother wishes to help her daughter accept the fact that Brian is no more and have a life of her own. Esmeralda's strong sibling love hurdles to bring the change her parents wish to see in her. But the letter she finds in the attic brings the twist and helps her to lead a normal life.

The author has discussed in depth what depression is and how it can rule one's life. As a reader I found this essay quite helpful in understanding a person who is into depression. The author has portrayed depression with all its features and no one had so far described so elaborately how a depressed person would feel at heart.

The author has mentioned appropriately the following quote to make a reader understand easily the status of depressed people.

Martha Manning said, “Depression is such a cruel punishment. There are no fevers, no rashes, no blood tests to send people scurrying in concern, just the slow erosion of self, as insidious as cancer. And like cancer, it is essentially a solitary experience; a room in hell with only your name on the door.”

While a person undergoing depression lives in a hell, a person who lives along with a depressed person may experience hell at a greater level. Every day becomes a living night mare for the depressed person's behavior or words could hurt at all levels.
