Not sure I have a style....I learn as much from you as you from me. I will point our typos, grammatical things if I see them. I love poetry and when it comes to stories, please nothing "dark"....not my thing.

This is a cute story; very warm and heart filling. It truly shows a little boy trying to stand up to a bigger image and the interaction with his uncle is good to see. We need more stories that have that warm fuzzy feeling. I truly like it. It could work into a short.

This article is very helpful. It is hard to rate low as, like you mentioned, we don't want to discourage someone. But, we are all adults and hopefully can take it. This is how we will grow as writers. It would have to be pretty awful for me to give it anything lover than a 3.0, especially during my early writing career. I am sure my rating process will improve, in time, with my writing.

I like the theme and how its sounds, especially the first paragraph but I don't understand the last line "never went to be fun"? Is there a type?

Question: When you say, "I die in peace today...". I am at a loss because this does not sound like a man who is at peace. This is, of course, one person's opinion so does take too much into it. Poetry is a tough one for me. Overall, I really like it.

I sure can relate to your story losing my husband of 42 years to cancer last year. I believe your covered your feelings well and sharing this type of story so close to your heart cannot be easy. Well done article.
