Review of tkl fun
Review by BlueMoon
Rated: E | (3.0)
I like interactives. You tend to have a bit more free rein. It can be really fun to explore different ideas you might not otherwise come across. So many options and you can keep on adding,{so long as you follow any directions]it's real fun. I never knew tickling could be so involved or varied before. I guess it depends on the willingness of those involved and the expertise of the parties involved. I have since gained an improved idea of tickling and more of what that entails. But I enjoyed taking part in this, it's been a little while I think. There's a lot of similar topics out there and if you do it often enough it gets less enjoyable. I try to vary myself when doing interactives. Just to see what's out there. I may try to do an interactive some day but for the present it will have to wait. The more people that add to an interactive the more attention it gets and it's all around good for everyone. This isn't a bad interactive and I think it should do well. There's multiple options so I think it should have some fun results.

Review of Tickled

I love how this is all nature based and just sort of flows. It was a nice way of using nature in poetry. The way this all comes together and builds on the next line. It's very refreshing to get away from the hubbub of city life and center ourselves in nature.

So sad. But that's war for you. At least Miles was able to die for his country and maintain his honor. I'm sure his family was proud of him and his sacrifice for his country. For those left behind it can be painful to wonder if the ones they love will make it out again alive. I saw mention of Troy and this and realized this may go back to the Greeks and their attack on Troy. Otherwise I'm totally at fault. It was a very touching letter from Miles to his wife. He seemed an honorable man. I feel bad for those who have condolence duty. Telling family their loved ones are dead. I imagine it's not a good feeling to have to do that on a continuous basis. It sounds very disheartening. I guess it's also a way of keeping tabs on the dead. I liked the type difference from letter to regular. It was a nice transition. It helped add to the atmosphere of the situation at hand I thought. This was very heartfelt and I'm love was felt between the two since he mentions the family at the end there. Sad but also a bit sweet too.

Review of In Your Dreams.

I think that it's a neat idea to explore. When you start getting more editions I'm sure it will be awesome. I'm not sure I'd want all my weird dreams coming to pass. Sometimes dreams are impacted by what goes on in our day and anything on our subconscious we may not be aware of day to day. I certainly hope this pans out for you. I may add something to move it along. Sometimes it just take one person to get something going. I'm sure that will be the case here. It can be hard to think of original ideas when there's so much out there. As well as a lot of repetition. Just look at what's out in movies. They keep making Disney movies into real people movies. Is that really necessary? I guess some people are into it. Mom may want to see Jungle Book. It takes all kinds I guess. They made a real life movie of Peter Pan. I was pretty upset that Tiger Lily was a white person. Was it really too hard to fins an actual Native American actor to at least add some authenticity to it? I was rather disappointed at that actually.

Review of The UnNamed

Isn't that usually how it goes? you're like the last to know anything and yet everyone else knows your business before you do. It makes me think of when there's an accident and the family is literally the last people to even know their loved one was even in an accident. It's really all just so ridiculous. So people getting sucked into black hole thing or just some metaphorical thing that's passing over my head. I like how neat and straight forward it is to read. I do like that a lot. Some times when people want to say a lot it all just gets typed really close together and one big blah that makes my head hurt. I'm sure I've done this myself at some point so I know something of what I mean. It's nice to be able to read something with out the needless hassle. Some of it may just be their sticking their toes in the water to see where it gets them. We all start somewhere. So long as we strive to try and better ourselves along the way.

So Darleen, not too much to say but that I'm used to a little dialogue in my reading. Not that it's necessary. We all roll differently and you do what suites you. hope to se more of you around WDC.

This is really sad. So a fugitive meeting up secretly with their lover? I guess it doesn't have to be literal. It could be they're not the same person they once knew and drifted apart. It really inspires a lot of different emotions throughout the poem. I applaud your ability to do so.

Wow, Alice in the ''walking dead''. That's a new one for me for sure. There really is a lot of nonsense going on down the rabbit's hole. They probably would view as ''normal'', by their standards anyways. I hope Alice didn't bite the farm at the end. I don't think she deserved death. She might have been unwise to pursue the white rabbit the first time, but I don't think she deserved that. Wonderland was a such a colorful, and magical realm before. I can't imagine how that would surface all zombiefied. That sounds almost worse. Before everyone was a bit wacked out. Now they're all dead and gross. I don't usually read much about zombies. I think maybe once some form of romance where a zombie may have been involved. It's generally all vamps/ and werewolves. I blame Twilight. But then when you're part of the walking dead, I guess it would be hard to pull off. An interesting turn of events of Alice's adventures in Wonderland. I think there may have been a sequel. But that tends to be hit and miss. Thanks for the unique twist, I rather like it.

I really like how you went about this. It almost made me think of it as story opener/quote. I really gravitated to this and I feel there's deeper meaning than what is being said. I know it can be hard to put your work out there but I think this was a worthy piece. Good luck in your writing career.

I do like fantasy. The way you describe what's happening really helps me picture it in my head. It's very neat and organized and easy to read. It has a very festive tone to it. A very celebrative time. The imagery is very helpful in giving the reader a better idea of what is happening here.

This was sweet. I've only just seen the prologue and I think it's off to a good start. I think it's supposed to be mi' lady but I'm not too sure on that. I may come back later and check out the other chapters. I think you're off to a real nice start though.

I think this is really sweet. More of like ''in loving memory'' than gone forever. It's tied to a loving memory of the deceased than to how they're not around anymore. there's plenty of sad in the world already, so I like to focus on the positive. Sweetly sad.

Ew, that is creepy, in a kind of stalker way. Once you get past the ''romantic'' phase then there's a creepy vibe to it. Even if it wasn't meant to be so, it's still creepy. I think the title really works well with the theme of this. Cupid coming up just adds to the atmosphere.

I don't how you begin to verify this, and I'm sure it's along process. It's a nice gesture. Honoring the memory of the WDC community that aren't around anymore. It's a nice way to remember those who aren't around any more. I'm sure they would be appreciate the gesture if they were still around. Good luck with this.

I really like your booster c-notes. Life can get over whelming and effect your writing. Sometimes it seems easier to just give up. And having someone cheer you on, is a great help. It wasn't so far long ago I did my own cheerleading with some GOT people. It's a good feeling to know others are thinking of you. Keep up the great work!

This was awesome. I like how it's something that stands out and grabs your notice. You're responsible for whether or not your life has any meaning in it. There's truth to it of course. We can choose to be miserable or make the best out of our circumstances. Make the most out of what you have while you got it.

This sounds very Dr. Seuss-like to me. I enjoyed reading it. I appreciate how easy it was to read. Thoughts can come and go. It can be hard to pin them down and utilize them. You have to jump on an idea when it pops up before it's gone again. I like how this was structured. I do appreciate a good rhyme.

That does really scary, especially if it's raining. That only adds tot he atmosphere. Might have been a prowler, could have been somebody just trying to get out of the storm. I don't know. One time at night, there was a silhouette of a person outside my window. I didn't breathe till it moved on. Might've just been a neighbor walking around outside, didn't care to find out. Totally get you.

I like the font for some reason. ''With the roll of a drum, writing.com latch open;'' , I'm not sure but it seems like a word was missed. I like how the poem comes together. I like the descriptions that go into this. It's easier to imagine it myself. I like it and think you really nailed it with this poem.

It's good that you have that happy moment to look back on. A lot of times we don't know what we have till it's gone. At least you were able to share this one moment in time to have a bonding moment. We don't know how long we have and should therefore make the most of every moment we have with our loved ones.

I guess that's one way of putting yourself out there. That last interactive seems kind of interesting actually. Is it actually based off the Guardian movie with Jack Frost? I just may try that one out. It sounds interesting. Is it still on-going? I can't tell. Good luck!

I saw ''Make people do'' and automatically thought- excrement. The set up is a bit off putting. It's almost vase shape. It seems like an interesting poem. It's almost like a person that gradually gets heftier as it goes along. It was interesting to be sure. Maybe some spacing would help.

I guess this technically counts as a snippet. You don't need the quote marks on she, you can put them before I. Maybe an exclamation point on that last sentence. I think it would be interesting to see how this would progress. Maybe that's something you might look into.

First I'd like to thank you for sharing something personal and that may be hard to talk about sometimes. You share an experience about something that others can relate to and may feel more comfortable sharing their own experiences as well. I do like the occasional rhymes in this as well.

I think is a very heartfelt address to a soldier fighting a war. It makes me think of ''The things they carried'', about the things physical/mental a soldier carried with them during and even after war. How it inevitably changes a person. I've had family who are retired and who is still enlisted. I think it's important to remind ourselves why we have the rights we do and to honor those who have and still fight for those rights.

Review of Of Water

I like the little pic that comes with the poem. It seems very calming. The idea of being tainted and then becoming new from the water, I think is quite fitting. Water keeps us hydrated, it makes up a good portion of our bodies, so it's of import to us. I like how this is set up.
