I liked this. It took about three quarters of the way through the story before I understood the reality of the story. Before that my imagination was running wild, I like that in a read. The pace was great and the characters visually appeared in my minds eye. Good job looking forward to reading more of your work.
Great job. I was raised on a dairy farm. The description was so realistic I could smell the manure. The development of the characters can only come from the imagination of a witness. I like your way with words. I have a couple of short stories in my port that I know you will like. "Summer of 55". "Jake (The Boy )". "The Bench"
Very good job. The truths within the time we live sadden me. But I don't despair. I see our future as a glass not half full and not half empty. The glass I see is over flowing with hope.
Looking forward to visiting your port and reading more of your work
Great job. I want to read more about these two. The first step in a story is the most important. Looking forward to reading more, I will be visiting your port.

Sorry I can't help with editing. I can't spell, and don't know the difference between a dangling participle and a question mark. All I am is a dreamer with a way with words that I personally enjoy.
