Marci goes into an abandoned hospital all alone…she thinks
The snow began to fall. Marci had to get inside. Judging by the giant icicles, camping outdoors wasn’t an option.

Mountain Medical Center, an unlit sign read. Marci looked up and down the street. All the shops and restaurants had glowing neon illuminated. That meant no one was currently a tenant in that place.

It was perfect. There was bound to be some good things inside. Maybe Marci could even score some fentanyl or Oxy. It had been a couple days since her last high.

After checking around to make sure she was unseen; Marci found her way around to the old ambulance bay. She took her brick out of her pack. The glass doors shattered.

Careful not to touch any shards, Marci retrieved the handy smasher. She made her way down the hall to a stairwell.

There had to be a generator somewhere in the basement. Light and heat would be nice.

She pulled a battered cell phone from her pocket and turned on its flashlight. After a bit of tinkering, the power came back on with a thrum.

As she turned around, she saw it. An animated patch of darkness peeping from behind a steam pipe. It disappeared a few seconds later. Marci could’ve sworn the shadow had glowing eyes. Probably just a rat.

Exiting the stairwell, Marci opened the door. She nearly screamed as she almost smacked into a nine foot tall black figure. It stared down at her with glowing red orbs! As it stared at her, Marci could feel all the malice and hate coming from this entity.

As soon as she could, she ran at record speed through the Ambulance bay doors!
