First Place: keystrokes for "Not Your Average Valentine's Day"

Second Place: super sleuth for "The Open Grave"

Third Place: B-Squared for "Infection: Graveyard"

The Goal: To write a short story using the below prompt(s). The story must be in the Horror, Dark or Gothic Genres and should be intense and scary.

The Prompt(s): Your story should begin as "The graveyard was quiet... Too quiet."

The Rules:
The Short Story Must be between 1000 and 3000 words and be rated GC or lower.
Post the story in BITEM format (For help: "Newbie Hyperlinking 101 - Bitem Format" )
MUST include Word Count in Story Body or Entry Post.
This should be a new story, written for this contest. No Poetry Please.

The Prizes:

FIRST PLACE: 20000 GP's and a Merit Badge in the Horror/Dark/Gothic genre(s) and possibly an Awardicon (Total GP Value=30000 - 40000)

SECOND PLACE: 10000 GP's and possibly an Awardicon (Total GP Value=10000 - 20000)
