I think it depends on the adult, but I'd say there are still a whole lot of adults who treat social media like it's totally independent from real life, and a place where they can say things or act out in ways they wouldn't dare to actually do in real life. Which is to say, I think a lot of adults take very little responsibility for their behavior on social media.
