Hey Dave thanks for giving us this chance to catch up with forms we might have missed. here is one I did although I can't pronounce it I tried to write it. Holiday Cheer By Lisa Noe This is my favorite time of year A time which we celebrate and cheer I place a bow upon a fake reindeer A time to drink our eggnog Bake our cookies and pies Say happy New Year guys In the morning we shall rise I just hope there is no fog. The Ochtfochlach is an ancient Irish verse form consisting of eight lines with a consistent but unspecified line length and meter. The rhyme scheme is a,a,a,b,c,c,c,b, as demonstrated in the following link: http://popularpoetryforms.blogspot.com/2013/12/ochtfochlach.html |
