We cut our teeth on Sputnik I; the first International Geophysical Year; Hugh Everett III's Many Worlds theory; Mercury, Gemini, Apollo;The Outer Limits; The Twilight Zone; assorted bad and some better science fiction movies; war movies and shows; western movies and shows; finding parts of various animal skeletons in the woods . . .
