Wow, you're taking me back 67 years here! I started driving (or shall I say I learned to drive) at the ripe old age of 14! I know I won't remember the model year we had, but I do know it was a Nash Rambler Station Wagon. Maybe a 1961 or 62 model, since this would have been sometime in 1967/68. I know the car would not have had a radio, my father thought that those in cars were the devil's work. He was sure having a radio in a car would cause accidents. It was also a stick shift, because back then if you wanted Automatic Transmission, it was extra. Money we couldn't afford to spend. Jim Dorrell{/sig} |
