Question of the Day!

Space flight is not a waste (though sometimes, it's a publicity stunt). They're still spending the money here on Earth. It's not like they're lofting all their cash in the rockets and shooting it into the sun. There are jobs associated with it, and real economic benefits. I'd rather see them spending it on space flight than on, say, private islands or politicians. Oh, they're doing that, too? So we ARE able to walk and chew gum at the same time. This isn't an either/or situation.

I agree with you on the employees bit, though. Just maybe instead of the private islands and politicians.
