Even once you reach RN or LPN, they still are not paid nearly enough.
As a bartender, depending where I work, I can make the same amount of money as a registered nurse. That's crazy. Granted, that is 90% tips and not from my employer. But still.
Similar to teachers, the vast majority of nurses do not choose that career for the money. They do it to make other lives less miserable and to help. People in the medical field should never have to worry about their finances.
