What on or within this planet would you be willing to explore and learn more about?

I would love to be a part of an expedition to explore, and map (in great detail), the ocean. Yes, we've explored the depths a bit, but we know so little about it and its denizens. I am almost willing to bet (I'm not a betting man though) that if Aliens have come to Earth and need to hide from us, the ocean is where they would be.
