"I am sorry. I did not mean to spy on you, but was in the shadows watching the moon on the lake. When I first saw you in the lake, your hair was glowing so like a silver moon nymph that I was scared that you might enchant me for watching. So I kept quiet when you first called.
"However, I cannot let even a magical demon fall to the curse of the lake during a full moon. Please come out quickly, and I will explain." With that he turned his back adding, "I will not watch further, nor will I try to escape." Then he sat and waited.
At first I trembled knowing that a boy saw me naked, and I thought about what he could do. I was too far from the cabins for anyone to hear my screams, and surely I couldn't swim away as the lake was too big. He could just follow along the shore until I tire then come in and get me.
However, the moonlight highlighted his features, and I could see the kindness and truth in his eyes for the words he spoke and not wanting to hurt me. I actually felt charmed that he thought I could be such a fantastical creature, and for some time I lost myself back into my imagination of Luna and he, my special prince. But his words of the lake's curse and how honest his face showed that he truly believed. Fear swelled in me again.
I decided that I should follow my heart and mind and return to the shore even though the lake was so peaceful and floating in it so relaxing. So I began to swim in, keeping my head up and forward.
