| She saw a missed call on her phone But her gloomy mood prevailed and She did not pick it up to see The caller, to avoid people. Buried in her brooding distress, She had lost interaction with The ones whom she loved once deeply. Her contact with the world had severed. She recalled the time spent in a Cafe which once was her hangout. But the pall of gloom swathed her In a cell of abject darkness. She had been battling her demons Of her mind for quite a long time But the devils lurked and posed a Threat to her flimsy existence. 16 lines Form: free verse Prompt: Words in bold |
