| I did not go to the gym. Sigh. I did work my Thrice Prompted story. I’m at the very end of it with about 2,700 words down. I did not intend to make it so long. I do think it is a good story but that is my opinion about my short story so that may not hold very much merit. LOL. Jim is grilling the steaks out back – in the blasted heat. I’m glad it’s not me! We cooked the potatoes in the duel microwave/oven. To do it you have to use a special metal tray that rotates inside. I am hungry. I have not had home grilled steak in years. We’re using smoked wood chips. It’s going to be good. Chad sent me two links. One was about two women who had their conservative views censored. They have over two-million followers. These two women went to court to argue their point and were resisted by a senator. The other link was from The Tucker Carlson show. It was about YouTube censoring conservative views. Among the left winged liberal new stations are CNN (the chief) and MSNBC. President Trump accurately called these two stations fake news. They’re really reaching in every direction they can. Libs are still pushing the “Russian” meddling. I mean come on!-really?! It’s been two years! Oh well, there is no rest for the wicked. LOL. I’m about done with my steak. It was divine! The grill really made a difference. In the Bible, I read about God destroying the wisdom of the wise and putting to nothing the thoughts of the prudent. Paul also says that God has made foolishness the wisdom of the world. Then he says the foolishness of God is wiser than wisdom of men and the weakness of God is stronger than the strength of man. He then said he will not to use wisdom of words lest the cross be made of no affect. Tomorrow is Saturday and that means no gym. I hit the PS4 for an hour and ten minutes. I am getting killed because I am trying to do the jump cancel combo. Jim and my mom are going to watch American Idol or The Voice. I hate those shows. Ricky is in Mexico now – I think. I believe he gets back Monday night and it is was a three day trip. I don’t know exactly. Him and the group he went with left sometime after Wednesday. On Wednesday, the group was prayed over by the pastors. I just texted Ricky asking how Mexico is. LOL. I don’t know if my call will reach him though. My phone did no say it was not received however. He will get back to me if it did get to him. Once again I will try to get up early for the umpteenth time. My writing is in my prime in the morning strangely. I hate it when I sleep my day away. | Once again, I am thrashed. I have been writing for an hour straight. Uhg. I also read for about an hour too. In the Word I learned of Jesus not come to please Himself but to please man and that all of our reproaches feel on Jesus. The chapter I read was long so I did not get all of it. I failed to go to the gym today. I got up late at about 11 am. After my readings, I hit the PS4 for an hour then read. In the book I am reading, the protagonist is coming around be reconciled to God. Jesus is talking on the phone to him. Jesus tells him a bunch of personal information from his past then Jesus hangs up. I am very curious how this will all transpire in the end. Oh, and two other people were miraculously healed. One person was healed of near-sidedness and the other could walk after being in a wheel chair. Things are heating up. Me, my mom and Jim and having a steak dinner tonight. I can’t wait. They are grass fed steaks. There were some shoplifters at the Walgreens where Chad works at. Apparently that is called a code 22. The same dude came in twice but in different clothes. LOL. I told him how I remembered how this one dude tried to walk out with some GPS devises from a Target. When an employee called out to him, he bolted to the door but was ran down by two employees while he tried to flee on a stupid bike! They did not call the cops but told him not to come back. It is officially hot now. It is 93 degrees out. I went to the store for some ice-cream and juice for myself. My mom needs to cut back. I need a few more anniversary reviews to make 15. I can’t believe my B-day is a little over a month away. I clearly recall my 34th b-day. I was taken to the movies at the Sante Fe Station. Soon I’ll be dead and in heaven. Last night, we all went to Yogurt Land. I needed real food. So Ricky took me to Cane’s and I got him a drink too. Then I brought it to Yogurt Land. It was a decent sized group there. I spoke a little and made some jokes. Soon after, Ricky took me home. Ricky will be going to Mexicali for three days. I was looking forward to a ride to the 9 am service. Oh well. It looks like Danno will be taking me again. LOL. Well, that is it for now. Goodbye. |
| This will be short as I will be going to church soon. I read about how a person who eats meat must not look down on he who does not and also that he who does not eat meat must not condemn he who does. Furthermore, we are not to judge another mans’ servant and that to his own master he stands or falls. Next, some people esteem a day as special and others esteem all days alike and that all men must be persuaded in his own mind. Next, whether we live or die we are the Lord’s. Finally, we are taught nothing is unclean of itself but he who finds fault; to him it is sin. At the end of the chapter it is mentioned that that which is not of faith is sin. The book I’m reading has a very upfront Christian theme. I imagine it was meant for people struggling with their faith in God. There are probably over a dozen people in the book. I am very curious as to how things will progress. In the small two of Antioch, people are seeing Jesus and Marry in hedges, clouds, mildew stains and others. It is attracting country wide attention specifically for the miraculous healing of two people. The book is written in first person POV. The narrator reminisces of his days of faith and when he first moved to Antioch with his father who gave up his clergy-ship. Back then he thought he had the gift of healing. That is more or less the jest of the two chapters I read today. It took an hour. I got up at about 10 am and had my coffee after my two readings. To remember what I read, assign mental pictures to verse content. For instance: For the part about one man preferring one day over another and others that esteem all days alike, I thought of a sun to tag it is about a day. I learned that when I listened to an audio course on memory. It is quite warm in the house. My mom can really feel it. I noticed it as I read in the leather recliner in the living room. It did not bother me that much. My mom and I just started the fifth season of Regular Show. I think there are eight seasons. I love it when Mortdecai slugs Rigby in the arm or the head! | I’m a little thrashed. I just spent my second hour revising my story. I read for an hour too. But writing can drain you and supply you at the same time as I read somewhere. Jim went to work at like 1:30 pm. He gets off at about 8 pm. I got up at about 11am. I made coffee that may mom and I had. It’s cool at TJ’s there is a coffee grinder to ground cans and bags of whole bean coffee. I like the coffee that we got at TJ’s. It is more expansive through. My mom got these biscotti type stick things. I forget how to spell the name. LOL. I did not hit the PS4 today. I wanted to, but I ended up not doing it. I suppose it’s for the best. My bro sent my mom a new pic of his baby daughter. She is adorable. I’m tired again. Only eight days until me and my mom’s paratransit interview. I hope my mom gets it. I’m a shoe in myself apparently. Chad is still trying to sell one of his statues. last I heard, he had ten watchers. I read out of Romans some more. It told how when Elijah prayed to God to take his life because all prophets had been killed and His altars demolished and that he was the last person left who seeked God. He answers saying he had 7,000 people who have not bowed the knee to Baal. Paul then spoke of men being like branches and how Gentiles were grafted into God’s trunk. Paul then says that of the diminishing of the Jews means riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness. Paul also says he is willing to be separated from Christ if his brethren of the flesh if they were to be saved. What else can I say? It is warming up. It is taking all the fans in the house to keep cool. I checked and I am still #43 on the most credited reviewer’s list. Well I am tired and it is getting late. Goodbye. |
| For some reason I am tired. I read for about an hour and I wrote for about an hour. I am near the end of my story for the TP activity. Three people answered my HUB post. I asked what people have trouble with in their writing. My issue is character depth. Among some of the responses were, the right amount of details, not finishing stories, not putting down ideas, and also my own problem of struggling with flat characters. A. E. Wilcox suggested a book about showing emotion. Chad called me after work when he was on his way to his mom’s house. He was ambling usual. He is trying to sell a statue on the internet. I forget if it was Amazon or EBay. Chad just sent me a link. He must be home. LOL. What to say, what to say? I’m drawing a blank. This is very unusual. I watched a Weird All parody music spoof. It was from Eminem’s song Lose Yourself. The spoof was about watching too much TV. It was funny. After that I watched a fake interview with Marshal Mathers. That was hilarious too! I mopped the house today. It did not take but an hour to do. After that I hit the PS4 for an hour. Then I watched a link form Chad about the top ten most ridiculous censorships in games. I agreed and disagreed with some of them. One was out and out belligerently gross. It was sex scene in one of the GTA games. In another, Battle Field 3 was called under fire for killing rats. It was an animal rights group. I forget which one. Jim gets off at 7 pm I think. Mother’s Day is in May. Chad told me. I didn’t have a clue. I need to take some money out. I’ll probably get her some flowers. Ann never got back to me which was expected. She is a flake and not that much of a friend at all. I’m still tired. I’ve been falling asleep very easily for the last two weeks or so. I have not had to use any melatonin. It takes me less than an hour to fall asleep. Well, I’ll stop here. Goodbye. |
| Today I got up early enough at about 9:45 am. I was awake at 6 am but as I usually do, I went back to sleep. LOL. I did not win the Writer’s Cramp. Oh well, maybe next time. Someone reviewed one of my Thrice Prompted stories called The Portal of Worlds. It had a Norse mythology element to it and the reviewer loved it. Although he only gave it three-and-a-half stars, he said he really liked it. He pointed out a few things that I will try to remember. One thing he said was how the characters did not have meaning or drive. I struggle with fleshing out character’s personalities. Sometimes they are just props that I put in place, that are no more than plain scenery and image. I need to practice character depth. I think the trick may be to really have to put my mind into the character’s place – which is the obvious thing to do. I should do writing exercises and focus on my issue. I did not hit the PS4 today and it was nice to get away from it. I started reading The Visitation by Frank Peretti. So far the story is about a town in Washington State where people are having visions of Jesus and angels. The main character and narrator, is cynical of all the sightings and miraculous things occurring in the town. In essence, he is bitter. I got to chapter three. Peretti’s books have notable longer chapters than Lawhead’s, John White’s to compere other Christian/supernatural books. I do like it though so far. I had two quiet times today. It was well spent. The Lord was definitely there. It is officially hot outside. LOL. Today at church we had lunch-on-the-lot. It was actually inside and pretty brief. Another friend brought me home other than Dan. Justice, my ride’s name, looked like he meant to leave immediately so asked him for a ride. Dan said he wanted to stay for lunch on the lot. But at the end both Justice and Dan left at the same time. LOL. My mom was talking about what to give my sister in law for her knew baby. All her friends and family gave her flowers – which she did not want. Instead my mom will get her a massage or spa gift card. That is what my bro (her husband) suggested. My mom asked how Ann was and I told her she is from another planet. By that, I mean she does not like to talk with me. She is a major flake. I just sent her a text. Who knows if she’ll get back to me any day soon? She may be working now. I just went to TJ’s for ice-cream and a pizza for myself. It was a small one. I put on some extra, extra sharp cheese. It was good. I think my mom said Jim is off Wednesday or Thursday from his later job Albertson’s. We will have a steak dinner one of those days. Chad goes back to work tomorrow- poor guy. He said he may call of work because of his gout pain. I hope it subsides by tomorrow. Well, that is it for now. ,Goodbye. |
| I got up late again. Uhg. I have spent some time writing my Thrice Prompted story. I have roughly 2k words down. I wrote for an hour. I hit the old P4 for an hour or so. It seemed longer. I was winning and losing. I am pretty good at DBFZ unlike other fighting games. Lol. In my Bible I read about Paul and his fellows being on the island called Melita. The natives to the aisle were hospitable to Paul. At one point he and the barbarian natives were around a fire. They saw a viper cling to Paul’s hand but he shook it into the flames. The barbarians thought that Paul would die or swell up. When he did not, they thought he was a God. I also read of how Paul spoke of all the things that condemn a man. One which was specifically pointed out was sodomy. He then names about ten different sins like haters of God, back biters, without natural affection, covenant breakers and more. In all my reading I am still seeking God. I need a closer relationship with Him. I must be patient. The Word says “Seek and you will find.” The Bible also says God gives the Holy Spirit without finding fault. I need to witness to Joel from down the street. I want to take him to lunch at BJ’s. Lord give me boldness and perfect love that casts out fear. My mom needs to get back with God. I also pray for her healing in her back. It would be awesome to see her go back to work. I wish I could work but I don’t think that is God’s will for me now. Jim will be coming home at 8 pm. He works so hard. I wish it was possible to work all the hours you want without losing SSI. Chad has to deal with this. I used to deal with this issue when I worked at three different supermarkets as a bagger. But Chad has been getting minimal hours at work as it is. I need to ask if he gets any insurance from his job. I did when I was working. It has been a very cool spring. I wonder how long it will last. I don’t mind it. It will be cool when I get paratransit services. I’ll be able to visit Chad. It won’t be any time soon though. He is still setting things up in his room and the house. Chad has a sporadic sleeping schedule. He will sleep then wake up and do stuff and repeat this cycle. His gout has been bugging him but he refuses to cut back on red meat. He has fast food burgers all the time. Well, I’m going to call Chad but first I need to see the link he sent me. Until tomorrow. Goodbye. |
| I got out of bed at about 9:45 am. I soon after remind my mom about getting my blood work done. Roughly twenty minutes later we left. Fortunately, I only need to scan my ID and verify some personal facts. The last time I was there I had to use my two insurance cards. I was the only one in the lobby. About 8 minutes later my blood was drawn. When I exited the building, I went my mom’s truck and shew was watching Eureka on her IPad. Eureka is a sci-fi show. After leaving the parking lot we went to TJ’s. We got some things – ice-cream of course. We also got three grass fed steaks. Jim is off all day either Monday or Tuesday. We will have the steaks then. Chad sent me a funny link. It was about virtually all TV and movie villains fighting each other particularly comic movie villains. At the end, Harley Quin is the last villain standing. In the Word, I read about Paul giving is speech in front of King Agrippa. He gives his account starting his persecutions of the Christians and how he chased them to foreign cities. Then he talks about his vision on the way to Damascus. He appeals to Caesar and would have been released from his bonds, but he had chosen to appeal. Headed for Rome, they are struck with a squall called Euroclydon. At some point, the Angel of God appears to Paul and says that everyone on the ship will live. They sail through a few places one of which is called The Fair Havens and another place called Salamis. Well, Chad is on the phone. Goodbye. |
| I worked on my 11th Thrice Prompted story for two and a half hours. And I did one small review. That makes 13 anniversary reviews. Two of my longer reviews got 2k GPs each. I’ll do them from time to time. The Starbucks shenanigans go on – still. The huge company is giving free drinks to black people. In other news, the CEO of Chick Filet has gotten backlash for denouncing same sex marriage. But people have been standing in lines by the dozens of the famous sandwich restaurant in support of the CEO and his company. The host of Info Wars, Alex Jones, feels betrayed my President Trump. Jones did not exactly say why. That’s what I want to know. He totally broke down in tears. I feel sorry for him. Hopefully he’ll bounce back. Oh, and you can thank my best friend Chad for the above info. He always sends me links. It was very windy earlier today. Our trash bin got blown over. LOL. It’s fine now. It looks like I’ll be getting my blood drawn tomorrow rather than today. My mom was “wiped out.” I still have plenty of meds left - at least until Monday. I’m still seeking God. The only thing I can do is pray and read. I want to witness to my friend Joel down the street. He is a little older than me though. I want to have lunch at BJ’s with him and share the Word over an entrée. LOL. The day will come soon. I feel it. I don’t know what to eat for dinner. Maybe I’ll have those Alfredo noodles. I tried them and they are pretty good. My mom and Jim love The Voice. I dislike all singing contest shows. I just like watching the bad singers on American Idol. They crack me up! Chad just sent me other links. One was about the Simpsons portraying the character, Apu, in a stereotypical and racist way. | This will be short as it only 40 minutes until 8 pm. I slept my morning away. Uhg. Tomorrow I will ty again. I must mop too. I just came from my mom’s PA and then TJ’s. We go some good stuff. I used my card for the things I wanted one of which was banana bread muffins. I tried a sample of their coffee. It was good with half and half and sugar. Next time I get coffee I will get it from TJ’s. My sister in-law had her baby about twenty minutes ago. It was a girl but we’ve known that for a while. We still do not know the chosen name. They must by very joyful! I can’t wait until we visit her and her husband, my bro Josh. Because my mom and I got home, it was too late for Ricky to pick me up. It bites. Oh well, I may see him On Sunday morning service. I do think he is going to Paradise. So that means Dan will take me. But like everyone else at church, he is not a real friend. He would never hang out with me outside of church. It is what it is. I have Chad and Michael as real friends. Speaking of Chad, he sent a vid of more Starbucks shenanigans. Well, I have over heard some talk and the baby is named Eliana. It means “God has answered.” She is 18 inches and five pounds. I can’t wait for pictures! In other news, China has asked to be exempt, from giving back some (If not all) of the US financial aid rendered to them – bad idea. Well it is past 8 pm so I will bid the goodnight. |
