| Monday, March 1, 2010 Distractions, distractions --- Go away! Hope you had a nice Monday. "Behold the ides of March!" Two birthdays coming up----my daughter's husband, Timothy, was born on the 6th and my father, James W., was born on the 7th. My eldest grandson has my dad's first name as his middle name --- Tyler James --- "T" for Timothy and "James" after James Wilson. Enough family trivia... Have a delightful week. Work hard, but don't exhaust yourself. Remember, you're working to earn a living----not living to work. Take good care of yourself. | Saturday, February 27, 2010 Got up early and went to the car dealership----only to find our detail gal at the office already found snapped the two disassembled parts back onto my seat. Thank you, ma'am. (Bought two new ones, then got a refund.) Got back home around 9:30am and locked my keys in the car. Luckily the Landlord was on the property and able to let me into my apartment so I could get another key and retrieve my keys! Took about a two-hour nap, and then fixed myself a wholesome lunch -- chicken strips and broccoli. (Figured I better eat well since I missed Yoga yet again!!!) Enjoy your weekend. God speed! |

| Tuesday, February 23, 2010 Since I've returned to work full-time, here is a quick update on what's going on with me... I am healing just fine from the surgery----am refraining from heavy lifting per doctor's orders. I am playing around on facebook ---- probably a bit too much because I now have a Cafe and have to continue going to the site to make sure food is being cooked and served. (I may just get off of there... too much trouble.) Have a pleasant Tuesday. -Kim |
| Saturday, February 20, 2010 Can't sleep. My stomach is bothering me from the recent surgery, and I'm worried that lifting the heavy expandable files at the office is slowing down my healing. Yet I need to work. My doctor says, no heavy lifting. (Is she kidding?) God help me. |
| Thursday, February 18, 2010 Happy Thursday! I'm about to get dressed for work. Worked four hours yesterday and did okay. My left side started hurting on standing just as I was ready to leave the office. So, when I came home, I took a two-hour nap and was ready to go again. Did some laundry while knitting and watching NCIS and then called it a day at about 10:30pm. It's coolld here this morning. Not sure what the temperature was on waking, but had to turn on the heater here in St. Petersburg, Florida. The cats are eating, and I'm off to work. Have a great day! |
| Tuesday, February 16, 2010 Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's back to work I go... First thing tomorrow my parents are heading home to Alabama and I will be driving myself to work at least three to four hours. God speed! |
