I found this piece truly wonderful. Though I am a mother of 3 and I love all my children. I do understand and hear your words loud and clear. I wish the world wasn't such a place, and I do everything in my power to protect my children from anyone and everyone.
The world is a nasty place and yet with the birth of a child comes the hope for peace and the pure joy of holding that tiny innocence in your arms. It's up to us to teach them right and wrong, to protect them from harm, to teach them to forgive and love one another.
