Sure. Basic life, on the level of bacteria or protists, is probably common. Even if not, the Universe is quite large and could contain multitudes. Life-forms that build rockets and radios? Not so common. I avoid using the term "intelligent life" because I'm even more tired of the "no intelligent life here, either" "jokes" than I am of puns about the name of the seventh planet from the sun. |
