Misspellings can annoy me - especially if I buy a self-published book via Kindle and the author didn't take time to do a good edit to catch the issues. I can tell if you've done an edit or not. Mind you, it's not easy to edit my own stuff. It's easier when someone edits me. I could look at my writing 3 times and still miss something. I have a lot of respect for editors and beta readers.
