Good morning! It's a beautiful Thursday -- a little overcast, but the sun will break through in no time.

Looking forward to a pleasant day. I wish you the best. Take care and farewell.

I just went on a wild goose chase. I couldn't find my prescription sunglasses... So, I began by looking throughout the house. Then I checked the car. (Of course, all of this is after I checked my glasses case. =) Then I called every place I could think of where I've been and could have left them. After driving all the way back to work, looking on my desk, in the receptionist's drawer of "lost-and-found" items. I went back out to my car and gave it one more gander. There they were snug as a bug in a rug---between the boys' toys and the front of the passenger seat. What a relief. Those things weren't cheap; and I wasn't looking forward to replacing them. (I do suggest if you're going to get prescription sunglasses, get wire rims. They don't fit as snug to your face; so, on a hot day, you're less likely to perspire between your eyes and your nose.)

So, I'm a much more happy camper for the moment... though I'm having trouble obsessing over something... actually a few things I have no control over. God help me. I continue to find solace/comfort in His word.

Have a wonderful evening. Anybody out there need a prayer partner? I sure could use one.

It's hard to believe we're getting deep into the summer months, and it will be autumn before long. Of course down here, we usually don't feel much of a temperature change until November or December... about three months of cooler weather, before we break out the swimwear.

I trust everyone is enjoying a pleasant weekend. I've been quite the active one today --- rode my bike to Starbucks, drank my coffee and put in the earplugs while reading my bible... Then decided, since the humidity was low and not too hot, to take a long ride before returning home to grab my purse and head for the gym.

Happy Birthday to my old friend.

         Have a great weekend!

Hello. I'm having a banana peel week -- too much excitement. My boss is out through the end of the week. It's amazing how many emergencies come up in a law office.

It's rainy again tonight... just the excuse I needed to come straight home and skip the gym, again.

It's all downhill from here. Jump into the remainder of your week with both feet --- right and left. Take care until we meet again.

What a wonderful weekend. We had a nice cookout yesterday --- my first at my apartment home here since 2001. I revelled in it.

Today I wore myself out at the gym, but when I arrived home somehow I experienced a spurt, renewal of vim and vigor.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have a wonderful week!

What an exhilirating morning I've had. Got up at 8am, took care of my cats, and repotted a plant. Going --- ooops --- right now to Yoga!

Hope everyone has an especially fantastic 4th!

Today I'm feeling a little lonely. I grew up in a big family -- now spread all over the U.S.A. My daughter and her family live close-by; but they're so busy -- work and school, etc.

Jorge is coming over this afternoon. That'll be nice. But when I look at all of the family fun pictures on facebook I feel a wee bit lonely.

Woe is me. =) It's really not so bad -- at least I get my butt out of the house and do things.

I feel like a heel. I'm going to be a total "review freak" tonight, promise. I have many reviews to return as well as three rising star reviews.

I'm kind of a mess --- going through perimenopause and on my way to complete menopause. I took my medicine last night for my back and then went for a three mile walk... by the time I got home, I felt faint, dizzy, almost drunk ---- you're supposed to eat with that medicine and I just can't seem to do what I am supposed to do. I came home, ate some almonds and two dishes of ice cream and lay down on the couch.

God help me make it through this crazy period in my life.

Hope everyone within the sound of this blog has a great day.

June is almost over. While I've enjoyed the month as I always do my birthday month... spent time with my parents, I've just been a wee bit down all month and really haven't been feeling well either-----not sick, just not up to par.

Yesterday, I babysat for my grandsons for the last time. From now on we spend our time one-on-one----not two-on-one. They wind each other up like the Energizer bunny. At about 11:40pm, I texted my daughter and told her I was on my way to her house with the boys. Cody wanted to spend the night with me----and rightly it was his turn-----but mommy and daddy wanted to go to a concert; so, I had the two of them from 4pm until about midnight----and that was more than enough.

Well, I'm into the shower and then off to the gym. Enjoy your day of rest and remember the only person we have to please is God.
