This is a sad but good story. I would imagine many people can relate to it. I'm glad you won first place, the story deserved it. I did not see anything that needed correcting.
This is a great poem. I don't critically review poetry, because I don't write it and don't know the forms for poetry. I always just say I like the poem and how it makes me feel. I understand the feeling of the poem. Reminds me of trying to write my short stories. Sometimes it just does not come.

A sad story, yet not sad. I enjoyed it very much. Kids can be extremely cruel. It is sad that it ended that way for Milton, but now he is whole and happy. I am sorry his mother will be the one to suffer now. Maybe she will be able to do something about bullying at the school.
I like this story and the way it ended - a knight in shining armor. I hope they made it out safe and sound and had a happy life. I did not find any issues with grammar or anything that needed changing. I followed the story through and really enjoyed it.
A lot of people pull away from God and then after a while come back to Him. God never leaves us - we leave Him. If we are His children - He will forgive us. We have to accept Him as our Saviour and ask Him to forgive our sins, if we are sincere, He will save our souls from Hell. He is my Saviour and He forgives me, He loves me. I try to live like He wants us to instead of what our carnal nature wants us to do.
