Hello Kat , I came across this item on the read and review page, I was immediately taken with the title, "NOT THE RIGHT ONE FOR ME", I felt that it was appropriate and great work for this poem. I also think that you did a wonderful job with the item description, It is very helpful to the reader.
I am so sorry that things did not work out for you both. I bet it broke your heart and also made your blood boil over, when you saw him with another person.
I would go home and probably cry. Though I don't know because I married my only boyfriend I ever had and we have been married happily for thirty-five years.
Good luck in the love department, we all need someone to love and someone to love us.

This was a strange poem about Insanity. I thought that it was a good look at a person's thoughts on the subject. I liked the title

I also have strong Faith, I could not exist if it were not for my love of God.
Your title is very appropriate, and the item description is also very helpful to the reader. My favorite part of your poem is the following:

My yoke is easy and my burden is light.
I’ll hold you through the long, dark night.
The battles of your mind I’ll help you fight.
In place of confusion and doubt I’ll give you strength and insight.

I am giving this review today as an item for our raid at The Power Reviewers Group! Happy Valentines Day, I do hope you are having a glorious day with your Valentine. This poem grabbed my attention because of the title, I fear that I myself am "Growing Older". The title is very appropriate for this particular poem. I think that it explains itself therefore the item description is right on. I know what you mean about the greed, and the youth going wild. But in all honesty didn't we all pretty much go wild when we were young? This is a nicely written poem and I give it the old *Thumbsup*. My favorite lines were the following:


Progress is still hampered by personal greed,
The world should be better for those in need.
An economy based on dollars alone,
Needs people put into the woeful tone.

I am giving this review today as an item for our raid at The Power Reviewers Group! Happy Valentines day, I hope you have a special someone to spend your special day with. I liked the title of your poem, "ON the path to forgiveness".
You know the person who gains the most by forgiveness is the forgiving person.
a person who holds a grudge or hates only gives themselves a heavy heart, which is harmful to only you. Besides God tells us to love our enemy and pray for them, always offering forgiveness. I think you did a good job on this little poem. My favorite lines were the following:


‘Forgive them ‘it said, ‘let go of the grudge’ it ordered.
For no grievance is peaceful to your tender soul.
‘Go, face your troubles,’ it commanded. ‘Go on’
Let not a drop of hatred overflow from your bowl.

I enjoyed reading this poem and recommend it to all of the readers.

I am giving this review today as an item for our raid at The Power Reviewers Group! Happy Valentines Day today, I hope you have a special someone to share your day with. I thought the title was a little cute but also very strange, as I don't think this was about a little turtle. I myself have COPD, I also got it from smoking at age thirteen. I too am on oxygen so I really can relate to your problems. I wrote an article that was both published in our local newspaper as well as in my portfolio here at writing.com, you should read it, I think it could help you. It is highlighted in my port, It is entitled "The terrible cost of smoking." I applaud your efforts at writing to keep others from going down the same path as you did, by smoking.

This turtle not only has difficulties walking
But now she needs Oxygen when she's up and about.
This turtle can take the Oxygen while talking
to all her, medical providers and she does not have to shout.

In the above stanza, I am a little confused by the last two lines.
I believe the comma in the last line is confusing, perhaps it could go after medical providers or remove it all together.

Not in front or behind each other, but side by side as one.

I think that marrying your best friend is a perfect Idea, I did that and we have, so far, been married for thirty-four years. We could not be happier.

this is a scary look at someone who has been trapped in their own hell.

Hello Dorianne ,I came across this wonderful little poem in the read and review pages. I thought that this was a beautifully and well written little poem. I really did enjoy reading it. I love traditional poetry, which rhymes;

Hello Spirit-Angel ,I came across this item while searching for something to review this evening. I found it to be a masterpiece. I love the idea of a memorial for those lost in the holocaust. This was a beautiful and amazing poem. This was a nightmare for our entire world when this happened.
We need to talk and write about the tragedy so it will never be able to ever happen again. Your poem is an eye opener and it is so important that people, especially young people learn about this horrible time in History.

Hello Dorianne ,I came across this item while searching for something to review in the read and review section. I thought that the Title was just great and very appropriate for this item. I have been in a few devastating storms in my life, Hurricanes and such and snow storms too. I feel as if the item description was also very helpful to the reader. I liked what you wrote and my favorite lines were the following:

Siting on the seat of a child’s swing was a beautiful
Bird, a male cardinal.
He burst out into a vibrant song and then flew away.
I knew that his hope was to remain elusive from staring eyes.
His song was one of joy and no doubt his mate was close by.
Now my day was over and
It seemed that everyone had survived the storm.

I think that is an enormous amount of time to be with us here. You have written a wonderful Haiku, poem about the environment.
I thought that it was very sad, it reminds me of the horrific oil spill in the Gulf. I can't believe what we humans are doing to this glorious planet, which Our Good Lord provided for us. I think this was an eye opening poem.

The title of this item was excellent and very well appropriate for this item. I also thought that you did a wonderful job with the item description The reader should find this to be v ery helpful.
I thought that this was a wonderfully fun poem to read and I also thought that it was a little bit of a tongue twister in places. I found that you used several poetic devices to help create this well rounded poem. it had alliteration, assonance and I just thought it was a lovely subject on which to write.

You are a valued member and I do hope that you are having a very blessed day today. I thought that the title of your little poem waS v ery well founded and appropriate for it as well. I thought that the item description was especially helpful to the reader of the poem. I so enjoyed this well written piece of literature.
My favorite stanza of the -poem was the following:


Sweet Arendelle,
hide not thy path from me.
Moonlight reveals the blessed way,
an entrance there! Ahead the moon shines white
within the forest dark.
Guiding me to once again behold
thy pleasant vales and glens,
with wonder and delight.

I thought that this was just a wonderful description.

I can just envision you trying to sleep, while the birds are on the outside perching and singin g keepin g you awake. I can just see and hear you scream for silence as you slam the window fiercely down. The poem is a very real thing that I bet a lot of people can identify with. my favorite lines from your poem are:



My harsh wail of "QUIET!!!" echos through the wood.
And the birds abandon their perch...
As my window slams down.

I do so hope that you are having a blessed day today. I liked the Haiku poem you wrote for the Spring Haiku contest. I love a Haiku, as I think they are straight to the point without wasting a bunch of words. It is a wonderful oriental form that I can really appreciate. You did it just right I thought. I love the spring it brings forth such happiness and beauty with the Dogwood trees and Eastern Red buds in my home of Kentucky. I also love the
wonderful daffodils of yellow and white and even the on es with the orange middle. I can look forward to the spring it is in the sixties here in my home today. So much better than the deep freeze of the other day we had.

You sure do have me beat. I thought that this item was very well written and although I didn't understand the title, That's on me. I think you did a great job creating this tid bit. It is a very unusual subject to write a poem about,, but I do love the unusual. I think that you did pick a winner to write about.; My favorite part of your little poem was:

If there be such a word
Then 'twas first announced
As the song of a mocking bird
In the first things you pronounced.

I liked the way you rhymed your work, I always like the standard old rhyming poems. You did a great job creating this poem I say Kudos to you.
