You wrote a great poem! It's fun and playful, and it really left me with a good feeling!

I like how you repeated the 'stuff' theme so often.
... write stuff, light stuff, dark stuff, kind of stuff, stuff right, or writing stuff...Your poem had all the 'right stuff' indeed!

You succeeded in expressing all the thoughts that we addicted writing members feel.

I liked the centered presentation. All it could use now is a bit of color, and maybe a few emotionicons.

Hi Snow! I really liked your directory item. I have something like this, which I call 'The Best of My Portfolio'. I thought yours gives a more 'fun' atmosphere because you have a poll which people can take right at the top! That was a very creative idea, and it gives a more interactive approach to the directory.

You did a very good job of breaking your items into easy to follow categories.

You have something written there which says, "I am doing some port cleaning and will update the links by December 31, 2010. Please be patient." Snow, you should really remove that. ...Or change the 2010 to 2013 because you still have a few invalid items. Other than that, your port map is very impressive. Gosh, you wrote so many poems!!

I like the quote image at the end, too. It gives a nice closure to it all.

Hi Amay! I was looking through your port, and I came across this great item! Brilliant idea to give it a tempting title, "Cookies, Cookies, Cookies", because people like me most certainly won't be able to resist!

My gosh - I wish I had some M & M's so I could make the Oatmeal M & M cookies right now! They all sound very delicious and not so difficult to make.

I was just a tiny bit confused about the last recipe on the list...The Tail Gate Cookies. You said to "break the graham crackers in half, and place in the foil lined pan (one layer)". How does one put half of 'a pack and a half' of graham crackers in one layer in a jellyroll pan? Then, what happens after it's done? I can't picture it. To me, it would seem more like a cake. I would think you need one or two more lines of clarity at the end of that recipe.

Thanks for sharing all of these recipes. I might try to make a couple of them...If I ever get all of the ingredients!

Hi ~WhoMe???~ ! I wanted to stop by to say, 'hello', and to visit an item in your port. I was drawn to this colorful balloon scene!

When my kids were young, we always took them to Disney World. One of their highlights was to carry around some of the colorful balloons from the balloon stands. Of course, they couldn't bring them home on the airplane, so at the end of the trip, they would make a wish and let them fly! Your image reminded me of those memories.

The image is part of your fantastic activity, which I took part in a couple of times. You always show creativity, in the many WDC activities which you host. The picture screams of 'fun', and it shows in all you do.

FIRST IMPRESSION: This is a cNote collection for several different occasions.

THOUGHTS: Hi SHERRI GIBSON

In honor of our 13th WDC year, I'm going to try to visit my favorite friends and groups more often. I was thrilled to make a new beginning with your amazing collection! It is magical indeed, and it's certainly going into my favorites!

ERRORS: I didn't see any errors in the way this great assortment was set up.

FAVORITE PART: Oh my gosh! This is one of the prettiest cNote collections I've ever seen! I love pixie and fantasy types, and your collection is jammed full of them!

I wish I would have come across this collection earlier today. I would have sent out the one which reads, 'Your Words are magic'. The image with it is so bright! It's a jar filled with fun!

My other favorite is the one titled, 'I'm thinking of you'. I did want to get a few reviews done today, but I really want to send that cNote out!

I will also be keeping the Congratulations one and the dropping by one in mind.

Hello 50's Child , and welcome to WDC!

I couldn't have read your story at a better time! You succeeded in expressing thoughts that, I think, we could all relate to. I recently began searching my ancestry. It's certainly proving to be a struggle!

Just this week, I heard back from a second cousin of mine. He forwarded me pictures of our relatives from the past. I saw a picture of my great grandparents from 1900. This cousin told me that he has lots and lots of pictures, but no one thought to write on the backs. He has no way to find out who those people are. If only, as you wrote in your story, they would have kept a journal!

I enjoyed your story a lot. It really seemed to have a beginning, a middle, and closure. This made it very easy and pleasant to read.

I would suggest to add 'space' in between your story. Right now, it has one 'block' appearance. You could easily fix that by leaving a space between the obvious paragraphs. Mainly, I would leave a space after: "...recalled from the many years of collections." ...Then again after, ..."would have written a journal to be passed down through the family."

This review contains some of my brief thoughts about your poem.

You made many great points in your political themed poem. Your brief introduction mentions that you wrote this a while back, but it could be a poem which views any time in any country. There will always be a touch of poverty and corruption. We like to think, though, that good can be found even in times of bad.

I love your artsy descriptions. You touched on many good subjects!

I noticed just a few small things with your very creative poem which could be polished up...

You could read through the poem again to fix the capital letters. Some of your words have random capitals, while some which should be capitalized are not. Here are a couple of examples: Honey boo boo, should be Honey Boo Boo
Pornographic Vandalism, should be Pornographic vandalism

Also, I think your poem would look better with consistency in the beginning letters. Since most of them are capitalized, it would look more uniformed to also capitalize the word, smoke.

Oh my gosh! Your daughter is so beautiful! How elegant and graceful she looks in that costume! Yes, she looked sophisticated in the old fashion feathers and lace!

Typo...You left the 't' out of sophisticated.

I would have loved to read a bit more about the ball. You might want to write another line or two. Was it for any occasion in particular?

Who took the picture? My compliments to the photographer! He/she captured a very flattering image!

My daughter is named Angela, too! She's an actress and I've see her in lots of costumes, but I don't think she was ever in anything as pretty as this.

Hi SWPoet ! I noticed your poem in one of this week's newsletters, so I thought I'd stop by to read and comment.

Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the things you can think up if only you try! ~~ Dr. Seuss

Yes, I love Dr. Seuss poems. One could never be too old to enjoy them. You did a great job with imitating his style in your cute poem about two brothers.

I would have suggested to add a link to that contest which you wrote this for, but I see that you created this item back in 2007. I don't suppose the contest exists anymore...

Your poem flowed so smoothly, and rhymed well...Just like a Seuss poem! I would certainly add a cute picture with it...A cartoon of two brothers, or maybe a Cat in the Hat...

I was interrupted from the melodic flow a few times, to chuckle at the funny lines! I could picture the two year old messing up his five year old brother's puzzles!

You succeeded in suggesting thoughts that would really go through a little boy's mind about his brother. It was so sweet to give your poem a happy ending. He wouldn't trade his mischievous little brother for any other! Nice work!

Hi Aunt Dottie! You always mention your dear friend, Chickie, but you never told me that she had a bird. My best friend, Helene, also has a bird. Hers is an African Gray parrot. How interesting that your friend had a dove...

You wrote such a very sad story, Aunt Dottie. You know you wrote it well, when my eyes started to tear up! That's the sure sign of a good writer!

The update note which you included at the bottom, reminded me of when my beloved sugar glider, Rocky, passed away. Chickie put her deceased dove in a shoe box to be buried. I did the same thing with Rocky, only I clenched onto that shoe box for a couple of days. I didn't want to believe that he was really dead, and I kept pleading with everyone to check him to make absolutely sure that he was dead before I would allow my husband to bury him. I could imagine how Chickie felt, especially since it had been her dad's bird.

What an interesting story about how that bird became a part of their family! It's almost creepy in a way...That the white dove went into their garage and insisted on staying - The same day that Chickie's step mother died!

I really love the pretty name of the bird. ...And I'm also glad that you mentioned coo coo roo means pigeon in Spanish! Geoff and I will be taking a trip to Mexico in October. I can hardly wait to show off the new word I learned!

Hi Aunt Dottie! In celebration of WDC's 13th birthday, I plan to read and review some more of your items. It was YOU who brought me to this site so many years ago, and I really do appreciate and remember that.

Your story about the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Saranac is a real gem. You wrote this so well. I felt as though I had been reading something which was submitted into a travel magazine.

Your descriptions made me feel as though I were actually there. I bet you must have a beautiful photo that you could create into an image to include at the top or bottom of this story...

I loved the serenity of the area you described. I could imagine taking a canoe ride, and talking with the friendly people of the community. It would be awesome to visit that general store! It sounds like something from another time. ...Or as you mentioned...Something away from the Metropolis.

Green Island was described nicely, and the little poem that you included into your story was a really nice touch. I could picture the children swinging over the water like Tarzan!

It was fun to read about the adventurous vacation that you, Uncle Artie, and my three cousins took. Gosh, you were very brave to try to get a picture of a bear! I would have ran for the hills at that point!

Hi Mike! I thought it was very creative of you to put together a sonnet for the contest.

The form of the quatrains and couplet seemed nicely done, and I felt that the flow was fairly smooth.

I especially enjoyed the consistent rhyme scheme throughout.

I thought your entertaining poem told a very wise story. In these days of technology, many people grow comfortable and dependent upon their computers. Internet connects them to the outside world, just enough so that they never need to actually leave their safe havens. Your characters, Jenny and Johnny, were two such people.

Your poem gave the term, 'thinking outside the box', a whole new meaning. In this case, we thought about what it's like, 'inside the box'. I liked the way you offered a question in your last stanza. It allows your reader to leave your poem in continuing thought.

Hi Snow! I was impressed with the unique style of your poem. I' m sure you put quite the effort into designing this. I read it over a few times, and I noticed something different each time. It seemed like a work of art!

I like how you alternated the consistent last line of each stanza, and then you pulled it all together at the end. The alternating rhyme scheme was done nicely as well.

I've watched many episodes of Billy the Exterminator and Steve Erwin's show, so I could understand the subject matter of your poem. You presented great ideas and a great theme of vicarious living.

Hi Blue Witch! I thought it was very creative of you to write a conversation in the form of a satire poem. Breaking up the conversation with black and red color was also a creative touch.

The subject matter was a brilliant choice, since WDC members are all familiar with writing and reviewing.

I think the point could have been made in less stanzas, but I truly enjoyed the fun theme and gentle humor. The flow was slightly forced in places, but the rhyme worked well. Your readers will have a pleasant and entertaining experience reading this poem. I certainly enjoyed it.

Joy, you really wrote a poem that most people can relate to. We check our email, and a good deal of it is simply junk that we didn't ask for and we don't need. Far and few between are the emails from friends and family. You expressed all of the frustration in a very creative satirical poem.

I loved your gentle humor! I could understand how a person could feel as popular as royalty to find 467 notes in their email box...And then to realize it's all junk mail! I loved the funny examples you gave! LOL

You did a nice job with the structure of this poem. You took your readers through the experiences of being popular, confused, ticked-off, and finally, worn out. I also felt the feelings of being entertained and amused!

Oh my gosh! This is so impressive! I had a friend who lives in New Jersey who made something like this for their cats once, but yours is so much better.

I can see that you put so much love and attention into the details for your sweet little cats. You're an angel to save them all and give them great homes.

Harley is adorable, and must also love them a lot.

I like the captions that you put under the pictures. One of them, though, has a small typo...The first condo.

Oh that was so much fun! Thanks for putting this crossword puzzle together.

There were just a few that I didn't get. I would suggest that you make an answer key so that we might find out the ones we missed after we did all we could with it.

For example, I didn't guess what an eight letter word was for 'something living and the color of gold'. It didn't help that the 'down' which connected to it was 'what a five year old girl wants'. Nothing I could think of fit there because 'saddle' went across it.

Anyway, I did enjoy all of the animal related questions.

Did you ever consider making a small item to write a little bit about the correct answers? You really have little, if anything in the heading before the quiz. If you wrote another item about your correct answers, you could include the link in this heading. You might then say something like, "If you want to learn some amazing facts about the answers, check this link when you finish the quiz."

LOL This was so funny! I always wondered what a fish thinks about. You nailed it with Vladimir's thoughts!

I thought the punch line was the best of all! Don't they just seem to do the same thing over, and over, and over again!

You could probably create a folder of the continuing thoughts of Vladimir! What does he see outside? Does he get moved elsewhere while his dwelling gets cleaned? What happens when things change or get moved around?

Hi Rusty! I really loved reading your story. It certainly can't always be easy to tote around your service dog with you, but you did it with a friendly and impressive attitude. You are a great role model for your children.

I absolutely loved the humor you added to your story. The silly responses that the uneducated public came up with are just ridiculous! One would think common sense would prevail in most cases. I hope people with weird thinking have been in low numbers!

I was also impressed with how you handled the embarrassing moments with skill and confidence. I have two dogs myself and they're forever embarrassing me. I think people view service dogs as perfect beings, incapable of any mistakes. They're only human after all...Eh, only 'doggie'!

Thanks for sharing your fun story. I hope you'll write more about your experiences!

Ah, dogs are so cute! I have two of my own. Your poem about the senior pooch made me smile...I especially loved the part about how the dog tilted his head in question when you laughed at his funny expression! I really love when dogs tilt their heads like that. It's like he was thinking, "What's so funny?" LOL

It was a great idea to center this poem. It gave it a graceful and delicate look. I think everyone (like me) will be curious to know what type of dog you have. You mentioned a 'hound' in the poem, but I think a line or two under the poem about your doggie would be a nice touch. ...Or an image if you can do pictures.
