My best birthday present was given to me on my 65th birthday. I had decided to spend the day alone with God. I awakened that day with a pervading sense of peace and contentment. If I could change myself, I would not need a Savior. I John 1:9 tells me that if I will confess my sins to Him, God will cleanse me of all unrighteousness. What is sin? What is unrighteousness? Healing my hurt after my husband's infidelity: When I had this experience, my husband and I had reconciled after he had been with another woman.
