She feels lost in this world. She doesn't feel she fits in. She has been hurt and has scars. She has even caused some scars on others.
Time has taken its toll leaving emptiness behind.
Getting close to her is impossible and a bit risky.
As hard as she might try to overcome those things any clues slip away on the wind.
To her she is lost, empty and it shows in her eyes.
Just remember she didn't become so hardened on her own. Something turned a young girl into a angry, isolated woman.

She is in love with a boy.
There is going to be a parting.
So what should she tell him before he goes.
Something that will stick with him and help him know how much he means to her.

Our author is having a heart to heart with God. He is a humble man and asked for forgiveness for his sins. The communication lines are open and he is using this time wisely.
He isn't afraid to admit he needs help to stay on the straight path.
God wants us to call on him when we need him to cleans our souls. The Devil is out there and will wait for the slightest sign of weakness to pounce on us.
See the temptation for what it is a passport to sin.

Our author brings us a tribute to Poe with Annabelle Lee. The pictures by the raging see show how their love could never be. They loved each other but the odds were against them. She was taken by an evil wind away and put in a tomb.
The sea still churns, his heart still burns for the love of his Annabelle Lee.

It has been a very uneventful day. Like a lazy day we all need from time to time.
Then it gets boring and there needs to be something to occupy your mind.
Call a friend or two. Make some plans and have some fun.

In this piece we find a stray kitty that finds a loving home.
Some might think a pet is a lot of work but when they look at you with those eyes; you just can't say no.
So sweet and, as our author says, super-duper.

It goes from room to room. Stare the stare that is driving our character nuts.
It almost sounds like something POE would write.

At the end we find out what this identity is. A grouchy, grumpy, opinionated, brooding cat.

Have you ever thought something out to what you consider the end and then realize there is still a bit of doubt?
That, unfortunately, is the way things are.
We all fall into the trap of listening to something so logical and then after listening to another's point of view; we find doubt.

The author brings us a piece that is every writers nightmare.
To go along creating and then to have the Writing police converge on your house. Trying to keep you from doing further damage with your pen.

Breaking down the door, the character points his pen at the officers and they freeze from fear.

He must be put in a padded room and receive treatment to avoid passing on his delusion to others.
For all they know he could have a writing group filled with hopeless dreamers.

While the bombs were falling:

This piece feels like it might be in WW11. So much of the fighting took place in cities. The piece mentions a church tower. In that tower is a sniper. The soldiers down below are being picked off.
The piece goes into to vivid detail of how a soldier on the battlefield has to see to their own wounds.
We know they practice taking apart their rifles but doing it when they are wounded and in pain. The courage they showed against such odds.
Then, once he took care of his wound, he would make his way around to others in need.
This is such a good example of 'brothers in arms'.
Looking out for each other as our soldiers have done through so many conflicts.

More than anything the author wants to be able to contribute and create.

Our author brings us a piece with a novel idea.
Combine cemeteries and golf courses. Although the piece seems to have some elements that would suffice if there were misgivings.
However, I feel those dearly departed should be able to vote.

After all, we don't want this type of thing to turn out to be the late night news on CNN. Golfer angers resting person and resting person reaches out of rest area to grab ball. The ball will not be returned either.
That would be worse than getting trapped in a small pond on the course or in a sand trap.

Then lets suppose, those resters just will not rest once golfers, the gallery and camera men are running here there and every where?

There must be given more though to this enterprise.

Let Trump put in his 2 billion cents. Ha!

Here we have a woman in torment when she finds out that her husband has betrayed her in so many ways.
She is hanging on by a thread trying to keep things together for the children's sake.
She is going through a myriad of emotions but must remain quiet and composed.
The foundation they built is falling in around her and he is off starting a new life.
Meanwhile she cries and broods and thinks about the time that she invested in this living illusion.
Does she look at him the same now? No.
Does she realize she doesn't need him to put value to her life? Yes.
Will she make it cause she is strong? Yes.

A man is dead. Two women in custody. The investigation yielded information vital to the case.
The trial begins and so does the questioning.
There they set, the two women, as the evidence revealed the killer.
All they needed was a confession.

This is interesting and clever.
Nice twist to the story.

She is waiting. Our character spots her alone. He makes small talk and she doesn't seem to mind. She is sure her blind date will show up.
As the piece progresses, it begins to interweave and even become a bit unexpected. Delightfully so.

She has something up her sleeve and he is a willing companion.

At the end comes the best part. Like love at first sight. Two hearts united, hopefully forever. It's like they both knew it was 'right'

There they were enjoying the day. A dad and daughter watching the clouds go by. They had a habit of taking pictures of all the different shapes and then going back from time to time to look at them again.
This piece is sweet and touching.
She was excited and he as well. Nothing like quality time to be remembered long beyond.
She is growing up and those times are through but to him, it probably feels like yesterday. I bet in his heart he wishes it were.

Our character begins his walk deep in thought and decides this day to find out how his heart feels about certain things.

How many times have we been faced with a decision and relied on our brain and not considered our heart.
I know I have done that before.
So this time he is going to listen to the wisdom of his heart. His heart inspires him to write. Explained how the words will come like a water fall. Filling the pages with what matters most to him.

In this piece we find a poem that our author hopes will help.
A reassuring tone. A compassionate group of words to reach those many miles away.

Our author brings us a piece about working. How we must work to survive. How we are taken for granted by upper management. How we can easily be replace if they decide to.
We get our pay checks and most go to bills. A few coins go to a bit of enjoyment but all too soon it back to the grind again.

For some crazy reason; we the little guy, is suppose to make it on virtually nothing and the big guys are doing more than fine.
They are eating lobster and we bologna, if we are lucky.

Then you get down to the important stuff; the love our families hold for us. When we say our final breath we won't be alone. When they take that final walk there may not be many goodbyes.
