Jaiam, I'm your loving Savior
come to hear you sing my praises,
Prince of Peace the message of hope
in ages past and new in peace to save you,
fully undestanding the meaning of my words,

To find a friend so kind
you need a carpenter
in a cabinet shop,
his hands safe
no scars
to heal,
but help
another soul,
weary a wanderer
who will take pity on me,
my name is Randy
nice to meet you
Mark,

once a newbie now a friend.

In truth rationalized denial
the sadness of Africa,
lost to the tourist
to be ignored
a lie on TV,
only a hoax
for a hand out,
the lazy beggar
begging alms please,
a tiny bread for my family.
But how can we ignore
God's plea for help
in this desert dry,
babies crying
dying, daily
without a grave
to see their Savior
rising, healing them
a new life heaven bound.

Hey, for some advise
a poem lovely
by bunni,
a poet
to change
when the sun rises,
very strange
really
if you believe,
your'e the one to write
listen to me,
life's
boring,
when you don't transpire
no stairs
to climb,
change
is precarious
in this advise write by bunny.
I am woman
a powerful poem
by Poeticdiva,
for embe to review
in shame,
the color of another
till this day,
woman raising sons
from boys,
to strong black men
with woes,
seeking employment
standing firm,
to support dear mother's
still bold,
to be proud we raised you.
Simply Positive Review.

The Journey through this life
indeed a difficulty question
written by Shortstuff,
for me to review
my sympathy,
their history of pain
in a sad poem of reflection,
the color of another by embe.
“Democracy Denied”
Memories of a man
Beaten on the ground
The white man so mighty
Muttering with tempers high
You bloody nigger a slave to die.
The cotton picker where to hide
A baby of color mixed from semen
The Governor dressed in white and tie
Boasting his mansion built bleeding there
The foreman’s delight to shag a maid tonight,
So frightened with eyes seeing her Africa
God ordained the home to die in peace
My continent far away from the whites
Your bastard America a demons nest
To hunt and burn your Indians dying -
Buried the buffalo a dream of home
Their ancestors beating a message
Clouded Democracy a stolen heritage
Hanging from the tree swinging choking
A white man's version of our transgressions -
O racial segregation where are our rights
Mixing with whites as colored citizens
Then denied by the color of our skin
Sweeping streets beaten and blue
Daring to drink from a fountain.
Where to now and hide from view
Black and brown a bastard color
White our masters the bastards
Blood of red not only for whites
God ordained in the beginning.
If you have a heartless heart
To hate the color of another
You cannot buy your soul
Burning away with a devil
White colored or black.
With the beat of the drum in your heart
truly a most brutul account of war,
written with inner meaning
the waste of life, what for?
The jungle a burial place
not a soldier to find,
now a corpse
buried deep,
what a waste of life

The joy of life in Christ
the Savior,
freely given
when we bow the knee,
his guidance
he died for us,
rising anew the dawning
faith, love
and hope,
there for eternity always
believing
on our knee,
praising him with singing
hymns
to rhyme,
in a poem review of faith
lovely
the write,

To wake the sunlight in the garden
everything was in place today,
I leaned back with a smile
forgetting other people,
their problems
not perfect,
for me to boast
here within my world,
seeing through my eyes
come crashing down now
my rendezvous to try and heal them.

Brick by brick
and day by day
when I was little,
you dried my tears
all my fears blew away,
a light in my life appeared
colored gold in heaven,
joy to sing out loud
there in my heart,
to guide me
my new life,
in a poem review
lovely to remember,
the joy from embe to write it
with thanks receiving
gifted a ticket.
With no rhyme
or the reason
to be annoyed,
the cost of conflict
in a world gone mad
now a broken memory,
a message from kattway
awaiting on my open door,
what if in a poem not lovely
you can't please everyone
to be annoyed forever,
when reviewing
their poetry.

Dear Anla.
You have written a lovely poem
and your faith is evident in every word.
Please accept the layout below my review
with your words appearing a wave shape -
“One night when I was just a child
I knelt in faith reciting my prayers,
the verses were all routine to me
innocently there without much care.
It was never once in my young mind
considering the essence of my words,
until that very night my voice was heard
knowing the feeling of total peace and love,
stemming from above way beyond the clouds
God in his mercy has been for me the greatest gift,
in solace he has given me his love that knows no end.”

Our new rising star
Helene
reviewed lovely
by embe,
beware sipping
coffee
with a cigarette
to go -
Black magic coffee beans growing in rows
Goodness knows how long must we wait,
For a season of rain and sun in the breeze
Shining a new horizon on the city streets,
Where crowds are lost smoking to dream
Oh! If only for the coffee to go with cream,
Seeing mountains high up so clean
From smog and pollution in tobacco,
The buds now green harvested soon
Under hidden clouds bursting lightly,
There to wash away the fear of failure
Producing a crop free from disease.
The evil in man created the cigarette
Nicotine a new black magic to death,
Hidden while smoking a coffee to go
On a stretcher strapped down crying,
Why can’t I breathe my lungs are tight
There is no light for me trying to see,
My children, where are they hiding?
“Mom we told you so many times -
Please stop smoking it will kill you.
Just like dad coughing up his lungs
Cursing a doctor the drugs useless,
Leaving us alone without a home”

To see what grows
in my garden
the weeds
must go
into the bin
no place here
the anger within me
subsiding now
near tulips
peeping
multicolored
bright in the sunlight

I read today,
the Nile
a river flowing
with wondrous words,
describing
the flow
to the deep green sea,
it was meant
for her
hoping and praying
for the future,
there to be
the young mans love
in a poem,

As time stood still

A writer of note
to share with me,
my river dry and dying below ...
I was born high up in the snow covered mountains where the air is fresh and clean.
My time was spent in gorges and crags where eaglets fall from above, with loving parents flying down to teach them how to fly.
In this golden paradise I found my way into the mountain side and then underground where I silently moved along until one day when the mountain burst open, I was set free to meander sideways, this way and that way creating bends and flooding plains where levees rise above me to form landing places along the bank sides.
Now moving ever faster, I flow where forests grow creating rapids and waterfalls as I go.
Then with the help of the wind, the trees wave to me saying thank you for the nourishment we need in order to grow.
Fish and fowl abound along the side streams that feed me and I am as happy as can be.
But now I see disaster ahead of me,
Like monstrous mechanical ants the rumbling is near and soon the trees are hacked down one by one' then stripped of their arms that so lovingly waved to me.
Now to my shame, like corpses in a row they are tumbled into me, to transport them to the sea.
Years pass by while the merciless heat consumes me in this barren desert where nothing grows
Fish and fowl are skeletons lying in puddles next to me, while broken hearted I wither away and die. A petrified willow turned into stone, my epitaph that no one will ever see.
