Ah, to dream humanity
as seen in a scene by Brina

one twenty - four hour day,
a moonbeam casting shapes
displayed beautiful in picture books.
A wonderful place that left me breathless

What'd you expect from your wife
sitting inside the mercury too high,
the blue sky shining global warming
no mistletoe or the stolen kiss today.
Dreaming a fire in the old wood stove
for Santa to warm your frozen red toes,

Today, I read a true story
a carbon copy of my life
before I found faith
in the attached poem.
My thank you review
for Johnnypruiz,
and his wife
with faith in Christ -
What is it with man?
That thinks he can rule the world
when he is soaked in sin so deep -
in clubs and bars and hotel rooms -
where fleeting pleasures hide unseen,
until they return to their homes and families
to argue. Where and with whom have you been?
As swearing and shouting begin,
children run, scattering and hiding
in their rooms - under the beds
In the cupboards - unable to lock the doors
with the brooms, which now lay
broken and shattered on the floor.
The damage done for the curse of divorce -
A seed fell from heaven today
and blew away across the sea
to the hills of Lebanon
where its roots grew into a beautiful tree
so tall and slim for everyone to see.
The cedar tree now cut down
as the cross of Calvary,
where the son of God - nailed to the tree -
is waiting for darkness to come.
The tree turns black
like the sins of man upon his back.
He waits for heaven to come.
Day breaks--The man is gone
to hide in a cave -
but not for long.
He bears the marks
of his pain and suffering,
as a final atonement
for the sins of man -
in a world gone mad.
Who is this man of mercy
that I now know so well?
He is: "Jesus my Savior" who saved me from hell.
And you!
Are you the man in the bar
Or a family that waits at home,
Trusting in the Lord to come and save your soul today?

in words of faith, for God who you are
her Savior, to love and guide you through life.
Just like me a sinner set free, on my knees forgiven
rising to new life, helping the hopeless and orphans
in Sunday school, their eyes a vision of hope in a prayer,
holding hands in a circle of light from above, God's miracle.
