Our author shares with us a tribute to his wife. A reassuring piece about how long their love will last. Even if the world is cold they will have their love to keep them warm forever.

Sometime love needs to be expressed and to be heard.

Lucky lady indeed.
Romantic
Easy to see how much he cherishes her.

Our author writes about his gift to express his misery and have it reach the reader. As the piece goes on, it almost appears as if they are a unit. He must make them understand the pain and they must avoid it happening to them. He has no intention of hurting them deep inside but he needs to show them how hurt he is inside.

Considering how difficult this is, one can't help but wonder when will his misery end? When will it all come falling out of his heart and be exposed to the world?

He knows when he is finally at peace and at rest; God will not expect anything from him. He will finally feel no pain of misery. This heaven waiting for him, might seem far. To him it is close enough to dream.

It was a hard winter and the parents had to do everything possible to take care of their babies. The mom cuddled the babies and the dad fed the fire. The temp outside was deadly for some but this family used courage and faith to make it through.

Some can relate to being snowed in like that.

Here we have a girl who is trying to figure out what to do by using some self talk. She is trying to find a job but isn't putting a good foot forward. She has dreams like we all do but she needs to learn you have to work for those dreams.
She admits she is having a pity party and feeling sorry for herself.
Tomorrow is another day and think positive thoughts.
Find the real you hiding inside and put that negative Nelly attitude in retirement.

Get up get going and learn how far you can fly.
You can do it.

She is old and her mind is going. She suffers pain and describes it as being inflicted on her by demons inside her head at night.
Her grand daughter sits with her and tries to comfort her. Sometimes her grandmother gets out of sorts and won't listen.
The young girls still stays by her side and doing what she can.
It's hard watching an elderly person slip away as in this case.
Granted it is fantasy but it is also rings true to an extent.
Family members find themselves trying to comfort the aging.

Two people pledge their love on a special special day. She is the rose, the very essence of love and their bond is in the form of a tulip for everlasting love.
The Lord blesses this union and the other people there feel blessed as well.

Seeing love, the vision and vitality of this new love, makes each feel a bit of rebirth. No longer will they take each other for granted.

It's not a bit unusual for a country boy to want to ride in the rodeo. They watch from the stands and think it looks so cool and like the way the girls scream at the riders.
It is just par for the course that there will be some bumps and bruises along the way. It takes years for the cowboy to make a name for himself.
They usually want the silver belt for the longest ride.
In our piece we have a boy wanting things a bit different. It wants to be a clown. He wants to really mix it up but his dad is afraid for him.
Those clowns are real athletes and physically fit. Imagine running and dogging a great bit bull to get the bulls attention to save the rider.

Here we have a young woman taken in by a guy she really liked. He had a problem with drugs and she tried to overlook it. She might have made excuses for him when he wasn't kind to her. To her he was a drug. She soon found that he wasn't good for her as with any other drug. She fought her way back and moved on. She still remembers him and what they might have had.

He is probably still stuck right where he was. With his type of drug there is no quick fix. Soon, as is the pattern, all the people that once cared become lost to him.

A couple have gone their separate ways. One is remembering the different emotions that occurred. There was hope, trust, security, love, and a seemingly never ending source of dreams that came true.

Now comes the realization that it was all talk. Apparently she ran into a player. After finding out her vulnerable side; used it to control the events that followed.

When finish with the game comes goodbye.
Knowing she has it bad just make the game more fun. Who will be the next unsuspecting victim?

Here we have a mother thinking about her children from years gone by. How quickly they grow. A message comes with this piece. Cherish them today for they will be grown and gone tomorrow. She watches out the window at the next group of kids. Waiting for the buses to take them to school. All the reminders of how things use to be. Then there is a sadness that it isn't you and me.

We have to let them go you know.
To find their way to fly.
Even though they come again
we will always want to cry.

Our author takes us along on a vivid journey to a lovely place. In our minds eyes we see the lilacs and cherry blossoms. The fragrance is conducive to relaxation. The view shares the shadows of the hills and the woodland. The creatures scurry about as we walk along.
Too bad we can't linger longer but night is falling. We must leave but our author can stay and view more and more to remain in her memory always.

Thank you for sharing this and bringing us along.
Your descriptions made this reader eager to see it.

The setting is the beach and two very different men come in contact with each other.

One man believes in God. He feels as though the majesty of the ocean is a gift from God and through this, he feels he can commune with God.

The other thinks differently. He feels there is no God and that life is a maze. With numerous choices to make. Some will be good choices and some bad. He doesn't feel there is a God telling him what to do all the time and that he is responsible for his mistakes.
Ultimately, living life and making good choices will result in a life well lived. So when he comes to his end he takes credit and needed no help.

Interesting piece.
The word choices added well to the piece.

So basically, some feel they need a relationship with God and some don't.

Our author creates a piece for a friend. Perhaps the friend is in a bad way and needs someone to care. Someone to say just the right thing to give inspiration to keep going. A friend to bring hope on a rainy rainy day. What a blessing this is to know someone cares enough to take time to just listen.
A real friend call tell when a person is down and needs a good dose of 'hope' and never give
up.

Look around perhaps you can find someone in need. Offer a smile or two or a listening ear.

The relationship fell apart and now it's time to try to move on. It won't be easy to pick up the pieces.
We learn from the ups and downs in life including relationships that leaves scars on our hearts.
Time will make us wiser.
We might be a bit protective next time and not give our hearts away so easily.

Sometimes we win and sometimes we loose.
It's worth playing the game of love though.

Sometimes we find ourselves thinking we are all alone. Our character is going through this and has no one to help find a way back.
Doing some self talk isn't helping to solve anything. If anything, it is making it worse. If there were a concerned friend or confidant that might mean the world of difference.
So now it is time to throw up the hands and set out on another path. This just isn't working.
No one seems to care and are too involved in their lives to give a flying flip.
Starting fresh just might do the trick. No one to answer to or offer an unwanted opinion. If there is a stumble than that is just something to overcome. No nagging preaching or advice.

Freedom might be the medicine needed.

A couple find themselves taking different paths in life. Something happened to destroy what they had. There is regret felt in this piece. The longing is very apparent. The desire for a second chance is sadly there. Just to be close again. To feel as close as the breeze and see the smile that always brought light. Vowing to hold on tight this time.

Watching the season changing is found in the piece. The malicious snow is coming soon. The autumn leaves fall and a rustling is heard from he breeze. While inside a protective structure it is moon light scurrying through the trees keeping the darkness at bay. The autumn trees whisper 'it won't be long.'

Enjoyed your imagery.

They ended it thinking it was justified. Our character can do nothing but cry. Did they give it enough time to try to fix it before calling it quits?
Sometimes emotions get in the way and mess with our judgment. After the dust settles, the couple start thinking of what they are missing. So do they try to fix it or is it too far gone?

There is longing felt in this piece.
Regret is very obvious as well.
Tears are shed.
Bittersweet memories are no substitute to warm affection.

When we become adults we sometimes forget we are His children. He watches us make mistakes and try to find out way back. Jesus made a path for us long ago. We the children. We are His creation and we are loved beyond comprehension. Unconditionally from birth to death. He is as close as a heartbeat and as reassuring as the coming dawn.

Let the child inside make joy and share it with others.

A couple separated by circumstances beyond their control must make the best of things. Our character expresses the deep longing and wishes things were different. The time goes by slowly; almost like an eternity. Missing those kisses and hugs. Dreaming those precious dreams. Letters are so necessary but hopefully they will end with the real thing soon.

This piece is a tribute to abused children. How they try to make it through life with so many memories of things they shouldn't have had to deal with. The verbal abuse, physical abuse and sexual abuse inflected on them at such a formative age. Our author considers a plague to recognize the he-l they have been through.

Just think how many children endure this every year. Behind closed doors or on the street. Even in schools. Lets say that each carried a plague around. Just think how many there would be. Thousands and thousands of purple plague reminding our society of the presence of evil.

Thank you for sharing this.

It's one of those magic days and our character is in love. Just one problem, there is some missing going on. So what better place to go than to the cherry blossom grove. There is no better place to lay and watch all those tiny little blossom float by. So then day dreaming takes hold and it's their time to share.

It's not unusual for a friendship to turn into something more. The problems comes when it's time to tell the other person. The feelings just keep growing but there is worry about the revelation spoiling things.
The friendship is solid but can talk of love weaken it? Is it more than the other person wanted or needed?

So after the air has cleared our character wants the friend to be straight about their feelings before too much time is invested.

This is a piece from the POV of the baby. The day of birth was frightening for the baby and mom. The baby needed her mommy with her but they were separated for an emergency run to the hospital. After the mommy came she rushed to make sure her baby was still alive. It turns out the baby has a disease that will be a challenge for the rest of her life. She is confident though cause she knows mommy loves her and will help her. She also knows God is there helping too. The mother must have prayed a lot for the baby to know about God and his mercy and love.

This is a touching piece.
A sad piece.
I noticed some mistakes in spelling and structure but it is a baby writing it.
This must have been horribly difficult to write.
Hats off to the author.
Thank you for sharing this emotional event.

The author brings us a piece to think about. The destruction those oil spills keep doing to the environment. The sea creatures and birds are without hope. Sure, there are some that are saved but the water is getting so polluted death is everywhere.

Meanwhile, the pockets get fuller. The owners build bigger homes. The cars get fancier as they drive away from the shore of death.

Shame on mankind. The first spill was a tragedy; all the subsequent ones are neglect.
