Original idea written in competitive realistic style

My favorite line: "Oh, to hell with this," he muttered irritably, sending another item-that-never-was hurtling into the oblivion of the recycle bin.

This is only one opinion: Nicely done, great idea for a realistic story. I like that it was told like a sports announcer. Awesome job! Thanks for sharing, this Gives me some ideas.

Realistic, emotional, letter. Positive outlook from writer


This is only one opinion: Well I'm just not sure how one's supposed to review a letter to family. very strong and emotional hits right at the heart of the reader. It's nice to see that the author is not in fear of death but accepts that this journey is Near the end. More people need to have this positive attitude. God bless her and her family and hers.

My favorite lines: Within these texts, he found solace and understanding, a connection to a time when people like him were revered rather than feared.

This is only one opinion: Great job! Good descriptions, strong characters, and good dialog. Well written, all kinds of potential.

Suggestions: A stronger opening line to grab the reader's attention. As writers we all Fall in love with our work not wanting to change it, when a good edit wouldn't hurt. I'm bad for too many adjectives. Today's reader seems to have a short attention span and likes to get straight to the point in fewer words than it use to be. Consider breaking down to a few small chapters with strong openings leading to Cliffhanger style endings Or sudden unpredictable twists. Just a suggestion, It Was a good read. I enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing. :)

My favorite line: My eyes open to a heavy leaden sky; there’s no definition to it at all. No sign of clouds or the sun - it’s like looking at a wall and I can’t tell how far away from it I am as it fills my vision.

Story about a haunted Carnival as titles suggest
Nicely written with a corny dialogue

Frankie looked back at Jack, backing away now, fear in his eyes. "Run home, Frankie! Don't come back!" he shouted

My impressions of: Charisma- The Devils Gap Chapter 1

Well written and described.

My favorite line: “how did you come to discover this technology and if the Pharaohs were Gods, then how did the Romans conquer Egypt?”

This is only one opinion: Good descriptions. Strong opening line. Good dialog. I liked Uncle Peter. I don't really connect the title with the story. Probably just me but What is charisma? Where is the devil's gap? I'm a little confused. Other than that the story reads well, strong characters, strong descriptions, and has a good flow. I like the references to ancient Egypt and Moses.

This is only one opinion: well written and a great job well said you speak the truth. As children we are taught right from wrong but as we grow older we learn quite often what we were told was totally wrong. That's what this poem says to me and it is correct. Well done!
