Blog Prompt: How does prayer benefit me in my life?

I can't imagine my life without it. It keeps me in contact with God. I don't want to live my life without God. It is a comfort to be able to call upon him any time and to spend time communicating with him. Without prayer, there is no communication with God. And it is a 2-way communication too.


Prayer prompt: Pray for the world powers, that they would seek God for wisdom in their leadership.

Dear God,
I pray for the powers that rule this world. I pray they would seek you for wisdom and that they will make good decisions.

Is it easy to tell people something, about anything, that they do not want to hear? And which kinds of things do you think people wouldn't want to hear even if what is said may be the truth or to their benefit?

Just listen to our mainstream news channels these days. That should tell you a lot. I do agree with the statement though, and it seems like we are losing our freedom of speech a little at a time as social media and other things are being censored more and more.
